Belton Woods is a few miles north of the historic market town of Grantham in south Lincolnshire, and an hour by train from central London. With three scenic courses and 45 challenging holes, no other golf course in the region can compete.
The club is home to 45 holes of golf on three challenging and scenic courses, including the Championship Lakes course, which hosts the oldest PGA tournament in the world, the Midlands PGA Championships. With its long holes, thin fairways and, as the name suggests, numerous water hazards, this course is a challenge for any golfer. Of the three courses, The Lakes is a real test for even the most enthusiastic player. This par 72 course measures 76 yards, a challenge for all levels of golfers. Lakes protect the approaches to many greens, so course management and shot placement are essential. The holes are long and the fairways narrow, so any mistake off the tee can force the player to lie down in front of the water. The 9th hole is over 600 yards, making it one of the longest in Europe.
The three courses at Belton Woods were established in 1991 and have improved year on year to become some of the finest courses in the Midlands.
Green Fees vary from £20 to £37 depending on the day.
