Location and setting
Located in a charming and rustic setting, the Retford Golf Club is easily accessible by the A1. It lies halfway between Worksop and Gainsborough, and 30 kilometers east of Sheffield.
Course
The Retford Golf Club course is an 18 hole par 72, spanning 6409 park style yards. Whatever your handicap, you will find on the course of Retford a difficult test of golf, rewarding the precision of the golfers; the holes cleverly alternate natural obstacles and level changes to test players' concentration. Many well-positioned bunkers and a good variety of risky shots promise an entertaining and rewarding, but still fair game.
History
The course was designed by Tom Williamson in 1920, at the request of the club's founder, Colonel Albert Whitaker; at the time, the course only had 9 holes. Between 1940 and 1950, the course expanded, but it was not until 1990 that the 18 holes were finally complete.
Prices
Green Fees are £30 in summer and winter, £20 for weekdays and £25 for weekends. If you play two games, a single all-year fee is available for the sum of £38.

The club opens its doors from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m., every day of the week.

About an hour from London on the M25, Crews Hill Golf Club may have celebrated its centenary in 2016, but its Harry Colt-designed course still attracts discerning golfers.
Course
The Crews Hill Golf Club has a superb 18-hole park-style course spread over a length of 6281 yards. The course was designed by Harry Colt and is a true test of golf for all handicaps; its undulating fairways remain demanding and entertaining despite the fact that the layout has not changed for a hundred years. This is overall a challenging course with well-placed bunkers, water hazards (including a meandering stream), and tricky par 3s, downhill through natural obstacles. You will feel great satisfaction after conquering its difficult par 4s and par 5s and five superb par 3s. And if you want to improve your performance, you can practice on the chipping and putting grounds provided by the club.
History
The club was founded at the beginning of the 20th century, in 1913, and its course was traced by the famous Harry Colt. Vardon had previously praised the merits of the ground chosen by the club, which foreshadowed a future course of high quality. As expected, the layout and the work have created an exceptional golf course. The layout of the course has changed little since its completion in 1922, apart from the replacement of gorse with tree-lined fairways.
Prices
Green Fees vary by time and time of year. Count on average £25 for 18 holes only on Monday morning, £29 from Tuesday to Thursday, and finally £32 on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday visitors can play from 14pm for a fee of £30. These rates are only valid for the summer season, the prices charged in winter have not been communicated to us.
Schedule
The club opens its doors from 8 a.m. to 20 p.m. However, the club does not allow visitors to play in the mornings, on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location and setting
Bush Hill Park Golf Club is so close to Enfield Town that it's surprising how attractive it is. Its ideal location, a few minutes drive from Junction 25 of the M5, makes it a convenient destination for golfers living in the area.
Course
The course of the Bush Hill Park Golf Club is particularly aimed at people who wish to play golf in an easily accessible place and without wasting too much time. The course measures only 5776 yards, par 70 but its 18 holes will give you a hard time if you want to achieve this par. The multitude of trees in fairways and water obstacles know how to complicate the task of golfers for a stimulating challenge.
History
The Bush Hill Park Golf Club was established in March 1895; its course was traced by two great names in golf, James Braid and Harry Vardon in 1922. The club and its course have always known the same enthusiasm since their creation.

Prices are £45 weekdays and £55 weekend days per game. It is possible to obtain discounts by booking directly on their website.

The club opens its doors from 7:30 a.m. to 22 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 22 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location and setting
The West Middlesex Golf Club is located just a few miles from the center of Lyon in England, and more precisely at the intersection of Uxbridge Road. To come and play at the club, it only takes about forty minutes by car from the capital, using the A40.
Course
The club has a beautiful park-like course, beautifully hilly and with 18 holes over 6119 yards, par 69. It is one of the longest courses in the area and has some difficulty, which makes it particularly appreciated by golfers with a low handicap. Its signature hole is 11, a charming and rustic par 3 with a tricky pond. The sloping green and the water hazard make the 11th hole more difficult to overcome than it initially seems!
History
West Middlesex Golf Club is considered by some to be one of the best golf courses in London, and it is also one of the oldest. The West Middlesex Golf Club was indeed founded in 1891. The club was originally called Ealing Golf Club, and it was located on the grounds of Twyford Abbey. In 1893, the club took the name we know it, and also moved to its present ground. Famous members of the club include Harry Rountree, the famous illustrator of Alice in Wonderland. As for the course, it was originally designed by Willie Park Jnr and in 1910 redesigned by legendary five-time Open champion James Braid. James Braid has left his mark on the course, exploiting the natural features of the terrain to create an exceptional golf experience.

The club green fee for visitors is £25 on Mondays, £35 Tuesday to Friday and £45 at weekends.
