St Anne's Golf Club is located very close to the center of Dublin and the airport and yet in the tranquility of Bull Island, a beautiful nature reserve offering superb panoramic views over Dublin Bay, Howth Head and the Wicklow mountains like its neighbor in the southern part of the island, the Royal Dublin.
It is a traditional links originally designed with 9 holes in 1921 by the Irish architect Eddie Connaughton, then extended to 18 by the famous Eddie Hackett, in the late 80s, author among others of Waterville in the southern region -Where is.
It was refitted in 2003 and has a superb clubhouse. The wind plays an important role here. The course winds through the dunes and gorse bushes. The jewel of the course is 17, a 3m par 170 which Padraig Harrington considers one of the best in the country.
