Located a few miles from the town of Oswestry, close to the Welsh border, the club is easily accessible from the A483 or the M5.
Mile End is an 18-hole, park-like course, 6233 yards overall, par 71. Visitors and members alike enjoy this test of golf in a heavily wooded setting (the course has approximately 15000 trees!) as well as the elements of water which add to the challenge. The dog-legs follow one another to the delight of the players. The par five 14th hole's two-tiered green is the longest on the course (542 yards), and provides an excellent test of strength and accuracy.
It was from 1990 that the Thompson family, owner and farmer of the land on which the golf club is located today, decided to diversify its activities and build a 9-hole course. This opened to the public in 1992 and was so successful that the Thompsons quickly decided to build an additional 9 holes, which saw the light of day in 1995. In 96 the 18 hole course and clubhouse officially opened. .
Green Fees are £30 weekdays and £35 weekends in summer. For the winter season, it is necessary to make a reservation and contact the club for prices.
The club opens its doors from 8:30 a.m. to 16 p.m. every day of the week.
