Career

The 18-hole course at Centurion Park has many interesting holes: from the first, a solid drive to the left of the fairway bunkers, allows a medium iron to be played towards the green, protected by bunkers to the front, left and to the right. The burn runs along the left side of the fairway, where beyond the trees you are out of bounds. This is followed by a set of challenges, with solid par 4s where you have to be careful with the drive to avoid bunkers hidden from the tee, good drives at the top of the hill and a long par 3 where the green is protected by a bunker to the front right and an out of bounds fence to the rear. The 5th and 6th holes feature a certain technicality, with a dog leg to the right with the bunkers on the right corner and a drive on the left side of the fairway which leaves a long iron to the green, protected by a bunker on each side. The last hole is a Par 3 usually in a strong wind. It is a two-tiered green with the pond merging to the left and an out of bounds barrier along the left of the fairway.
