From Burnham, if you take the North Devon Link Road, you are likely to come across the Tiverton Colf Club, a parkland-style gold, which offers surprises for anyone trying the adventure in summer. In winter, conditions can be a little rougher and it is therefore strongly advised to contact the club for information on playing conditions.
The Tiverton course is an excellent example of parkland golf, with beautiful trees and views over elevated areas of the course. The challenges follow one another on this 6619 yard par 71 course: short par 5s, steep descents, well-placed natural obstacles, well-placed bunkers... Tiverton will be able to challenge seasoned players!
Originally designed by renowned golfer-turned-designer James Braid, designer of the illustrious Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St Enodoc, Tiverton has long had the reputation of being one of the best courses in Devon county. It has been enhanced by recent work and changes to the layout which have enhanced this 18-hole course created in 1932. It can now easily be called "the best golf course in the whole of the South West of the United Kingdom".
The Green Fees differ according to the season and the course in 9 or 18 holes: Green Fees are between £25 (9-hole course in winter) and £65 (18-hole course in summer).
The club opens its doors from 8 a.m. to 19 p.m. every day of the week.
