The Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the current course was inaugurated in 1897. The Clubhouse celebrated its centenary in 1998. It is one of the first links in the world. It has hosted ten Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and many other major tournaments, including the Women's and Seniors Open Championships.

With over 200 bunkers dotting the fairways and surrounding the greens and the ever-present sea breeze, the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club offers a real challenge for all golfers.
