The Ascot Golf Club is a special club, since it is a club with a rich history of more than 100 years of existence, but also a royal club! Less than an hour from London via the M4, this exceptional course is easily accessible.
The course at Royal Ascot Golf Club is park-style, measuring 6294 yards and comprising 18 holes, par 70. Designed by Jonathan Tucker, it is a beautiful hilly course on a former deer park. Golfers will appreciate the excellent level of challenge offered, fair but difficult.
Founded and christened by Queen Victoria in 1887, the club's course was sponsored by Edward VII, and has served as a playground for many members of the royal family since its inception. Its location has changed over time, as it was originally located at Ascot Heath, in the center of the racecourse, before being moved to its current location at Ascot Farm, southwest of Windsor Great Park , in Berkshire. The opening of the new course in 2005 restored all its beauty and nobility to the course, and it now boasts excellent drainage. Thanks to its quality greens, the club is proud to regularly host Opens, the Jamega Tour, Pro-Am events and competitions between members which take place throughout the year.
Green Fees are £80 for weekend mornings, £60 for afternoons, while for weekdays rates drop to £60 for mornings and £50 for afternoons. On Wednesdays, a £10 discount is applied all day.
