Location and setting
Tytherington Club, founded in 1986, is one of the UK's first custom-built golf and health clubs. Situated in the heart of Cheshire, sharing the scenic backdrop of the Pennine foothills, their course has been described as one of the best courses in the North West.
Career
Set in verdant parkland, the course winds through deep forest that follows the natural contours of the landscape with over 100 bunkers and eight water features, providing a demanding but enjoyable test of skill for every golfer's caliber. Tytherington's 18-hole championship course is rightly considered one of the best in the North West of England. The course follows the contours of nature, offering exhilarating views of the Peak District, in gently sloping Cheshire parkland. There's something for all levels of golfer, with over 100 bunkers and eight water features.
History
The Tytherington Golf Club course was designed by architect Patrick Dawson. This modern and challenging championship course was home to the Ladies European Tour for ten years before the tour moved to Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
Prices
Tytherington Golf Club Green Fees vary by season and day of the week:
1 November to 28 February: £22 per person Monday to Thursday, £32 per person Friday to Sunday;
From March 1 to April 30: £30 per person Monday to Thursday, £40 per person Friday to Sunday;
May 1 to October 31: £34 per person Monday to Thursday, and £44 per person Friday to Sunday.
Duration:
The club is open from 6 a.m. to 22 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 21 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
