Newquay Golf Club is located in the town of the same name, on the Cornish coast. This arduous but fair course attracts golfers of all levels who wish to enjoy a superb panorama and test their technical abilities to fight against the sea wind.
Newquay's links-type course attracts many professionals and amateurs, who particularly appreciate its many bunkers around the greens. These play well and are fast and sloping. The course requires a lot of precision and concentration, but it also makes birdies relatively easy if you find the right position and the right strength.
Newquay Golf Club was established in 1890 with the intention of creating the finest golf course in Cornwall, along the beautiful stretch of Fistral Beach. It is to Harry Colt that we owe this course of great quality and layout that has nothing to envy to more modern creations. The club has maintained the course throughout its history, which still allows golfers to play in the best possible conditions. Famous followers of Newquay include the royal family in particular; King George VI often spent his holidays there.
Green Fees are £45 per week, £50 on weekends and bank holidays. The daily rate from £65 to £70.
