Le Golf of Mont Saint Jean is located in the heart of the Les Rousses holiday station a few kilometers from Geneva and Lausanne. It is a real mountain golf course about Jura mountains. Close to the Franco-Swiss border, it can be reached by the Col de la Faucille from the old French town of Gex or the Swiss city of Saint-Cergue.
Its main course, Mont Saint Jean Bas is a 18 holes par 72 of 6008 meters. It offers plunging views towards a vast panorama. The barely wooded fairways at the bottom of the valley as on the hillside suggest an open game. However, the course of the Golf du Mont Saint Jean is much more technical than it seems. Value for money is excellent.
We ate at the restaurant for lunch is nothing to say it was great.
