The Fourqueux golf course is a private 27-hole golf course. It welcomes outside players during the week on its narrow and wooded course. Both courses are fairly technical and will require golfers to take solid faceoffs and precise irons.

History and traditions

On June 15, 1633, Louis XIII acquired the 75 hectare estate of Fourqueux to donate it to his doctor, Charles Bouvard. During the years that followed, the estate remained the property of the successors of the King's “tapper”.
In 1923, with the exception of Villa Colin and the 1.5 hectare land kept by Charles and Marie Marret, the area until then operated by a farmer, was leased to a circle to create a golf course. Léon Visinet, member of the Automobile Club d'Ile de France, presides over the creation of the Golf & Tennis Club of Marly & Fourqueux.
The course was officially inaugurated on October 29, 1924. The golf course hosted international championships and Arnaud Massy established a course record there. With the war, the Fourqueux golf course ceased its activity on May 1, 1940. During the war, the area was used by German forces. Then it becomes again a property intended for the breeding of race horses.
In 1959, the announced closure of a golf course located in the town of Marly led a group of players to search for a nearby site to recreate a golf course.

The past and the beauty of the site appeal to the founding committee. The domain of Fourqueux is selected. On an area of ​​75 hectares, it was decided to revive a golf course by making 27 holes in a green setting. The course is designed by Lou Petitt and Hawtree is supervising the work. The ground is modeled. 26 trees and shrubs are planted. The golf course was inaugurated on May 000, 11.
A tree-lined course of great diversity

The course of Fourqueux is also traversed like an arboretum. Indeed, more than 50 species of conifers and 170 of deciduous trees can be spotted there. Native trees such as alders, chestnuts, oaks, ash and beeches inhabit the nearby forest of Marly. Trees established when the golf course was created and in the following years. Among them are numerous and diverse conifers. Spruce, fir, pine, douglas, cedar, cypress, sequoias and araucaria. Hardwoods of all kinds: hornbeam, maples, plane trees, lime trees, tall poplars, aspens, weeping willows, ...

The Golf de Béthemont is located just 20 minutes from Paris and 15 minutes from La Défense. This flagship of Parisian golf courses covers 65 hectares. The quality of its course and its facilities make it a benchmark golf course in Ile de France.
History
Created in 1989, the Golf de Béthemont is to this day the only work in France of the German champion Bernhard Langer (double winner of the Masters). "It is the attention paid to a multitude of small details that makes the difference between a good course and a great course".

Feucherolles golf course is a prestigious golf course at the gates of Paris. It deploys its greens and fairways over 65 beautifully hilly hectares in the north-east of Yvelines, 12 minutes from Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Particularly rugged, the Feucherolles golf course has a very interesting technical aspect. Indeed, built with the greatest respect for the environment, the site, largely wooded and punctuated by 5 lakes, fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape.

Designed by the American, JM Poellot, it was inaugurated in 1992. Feucherolles golf course has today reached a maturity which ranks it among the most beautiful golf courses in western Paris.
18-hole course
The par is 72 (36 and 36) and regular (two par 5 and two par 3 out and back). Its length is 6348 meters. It is a demanding and technical course that you have to play many times before mastering it. Indeed, many obstacles are within reach of Drive and deserve a rigorous calibration of the course to get around them.

Aesthetically, this golf course is superb, quite hilly mixing water obstacles and hundred-year-old trees. Even if the game is not there, the golf trip will be unforgettable.
