Hazlemere Golf Club is between the M40 and the A413, near High Wycombe in the county of Buckinghamshire. Coming from Oxford, you will have to travel 30 miles to get to this club.
Surrounded by idyllic forests and landscapes, Hazlemare Golf Club offers a park-like course, a par 70 of 5833 yards located in the heart of the Chiltern Hills whose beauty can be admired from many places on the course.
The course may seem short on paper but offers its share of challenges, in particular holes 3 and 5 which, although short, are surprisingly well protected by vegetation and will put your golf skills to the test.
The club was created in 1982, and quickly rose to the podium of the best golf courses in the region, in particular thanks to its landscapes, but also thanks to the complexity of its course, which can be seen as two loops of nine. holes. This course was designed by Terry Murray who also designed the Castro Marim Golf Course in Portugal. Originally, the land belonged to the Earl Howe Estate, whose avenue lined with lime trees is one of the vestiges of this era.
It is necessary to go through the club's website to reserve a tee, the prices being indexed on the availability of the course. The minimum charge found was £25, with a morning charge of £30 in winter.
The club opens its doors from 8:30 a.m. to 18 p.m. every day of the week.
