Golf El Rompido

Located in the province of Huelva, at the western end of Andalusia, the golf el rompido is part of the natural space of the Marismas del Río Piedras. The golf el Rompido is the only golf course in the region which has 36 holes (north and south courses) without any real estate development around.

Its two 18-hole courses, surrounded by pines and orange trees, cross the marshes and open onto the Atlantic Ocean with spectacular views, providing a unique sensation to those who play there. The force of nature is present at every step, making the practice of golf a pleasure for the senses.

The South Course

Inaugurated in October 2003, the south course borders the clubhouse and is divided into two parts with very different characteristics, both in terms of technique and landscape.

The pine forest, olive trees and swamp alternate, requiring the player to have strategy and precision in his shots.

The course, which is easily played on foot, offers wide greens known as the fastest in Andalusia.

The mixture of tropical and winter herbs gives the fairways a unique character and allows golfing all year round.

The North Course

Inaugurated in June 2006, the North course is, according to the Peugeot guide to the 1 best courses in Europe, a monument of modern, intelligent and fun golf.

Modern because it combines power and precision; smart because it forces you to think about your shots; and fun because its medium sized greens will amuse the most skillful and demanding players.

The course blends in with beautiful nature and does not require unreasonable strokes.

From SEVILLE airport - 112 km.

• 1,5 Km. Exit 535 direction SE 30 Huelva
• On the SE 30, exit towards Huelva A49
• Continue on the A-49 towards Huelva
• At the sign "Huelva - Portugal" take the direction of Portugal.
• Exit 99 of the A-49 "Access to the beaches of Cartaya".
• In Cartaya, take the direction "El Rompido".
• After 7 km, in front of the gas station, turn right.

From FARO airport - 94 km.

• Departure from Faro Airport N125 - 10.Follow the IP-1 Santa Brás
• Follow N2
• Follow the E1- A49 towards Espanha
• Pass Puente Internacional do Guadiana (Spain)
• Exit 105 from the A-49, "Access to the beaches of Cartaya".
• In Cartaya, take the direction "El Rom pido"
• After 7 km, in front of the gas station, turn right
