Golf Epherra

The Toulouse golf course is located ten minutes from the Place du Capitole. The oldest golf course in the Pink City offered only 9 holes when it opened in 1950. Thirty years later, it was extended to 18 holes by Fred Hawtree, the prominent architect of the 1980s.

Perched on the slopes of Vieille-Toulouse, they are renowned for their panorama of the Pyrenees and the Garonne. Holes 14 and 15 are the signature holes of this magnificent course. Indeed, from its fairways, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city. History
Designed in 1989 by Hawtree & Son on an area of ​​64 hectares in the heart of an oak forest, the architects were able with skill and brio to take advantage of the environment to design a route that is both technical and diverse.
The paths

18 holes: Par 70 with a length of 5 meters from the back tees. This course will satisfy both beginners and experienced players.
9 holes: Par 27 with a length of 605 meters, 9 par 3, this course is ideal both for beginners but also for small game training for experienced players.

Training areas
Accessible to all, 7 days a week, on approximately 7 M4000 with colored targets:

Practice on water with more than 60 stations including 19 covered, accessible to all 7 days a week with floating targets at 7, 50, 100 and 150 meters, lit up to 180 p.m. throughout the winter season.
Putting Green of 1000 M2 with the same quality of green as on the course.

Created in 1988 on the Ways of Saint Jacques de Compostelle, the Estolosa golf course is a true haven of peace which deploys its greens and fairways in the heart of 45 hectares of greenery and classified oaks. It is located only 10 minutes from "La Ville Rose" at the gates of Lauragais.

The 9-hole course
With its Par 68, the Estolosa golf course has a 9-hole course with a length of 2220 meters. The course is technical but relatively short, which explains a slope of 124. Accessible to beginners and attractive for experienced golfers, players will appreciate the hilly design and the particularity of each hole.

A historic obstacle
In the middle of hole N ° 8 stands a historic obstacle: a large oak tree several hundred years old. It is at the foot of this one that, during the construction of the golf course, a cross of St Jacques was found. The oak, symbol of strength and longevity, was considered by pilgrims as the link between heaven and earth. It is said that this oak served as a meeting point between those who were beginning their pilgrimage and those who were already on the way.

ESTOLOSA is a proper name coming from the contraction of "EST TOLOSA" for "East of Toulouse". It is also the contraction of "c'est Toulouse" in Occitan.
