The Royal Golf Club of Belgium was established in 1906 by King Leopold II and is therefore one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Belgium.
On the lands of the Ravenstein estate, it offers an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course in a magnificent botanical garden in Tervuren, not far from Brussels.
The new course welcomes players from handicap 36, where they can polish their technique on a 9-hole course.
The old course is a magnificent classic 18-hole course representing a sporting challenge for players from handicap 20 for men and 24 for women. The fairways weave their way between the different trees, planted in a harmonious way. Well-protected greens and several level differences require precision with every shot.
During the development of the Geographical Arboretum of Tervuren in the early 1900s, different varieties of trees from areas with moderate climates around the world were brought to Belgium. At the express request of the king, these seeds and plants were also used for the landscaping of the golf course.

This breathtaking nature alone justifies a visit to Ravenstein.
The clubhouse is located in the old castle farm dating from the 19th century. You can have a drink in the bar or enjoy a menu in the restaurant, in the ambience of the time.

The paths
Three exceptional routes are offered to the visitor: La Marache, Le Lion and Bois-Héros, designed in particular by the architects Hawtree father and son. These courses are maintained by a team of more than 20 gardeners who make them the most beautiful 45-hole club in Belgium, ranked among the 1000 most beautiful golf courses in the world.

The Royal Waterloo Golf Club has hosted, within the framework of international tournaments, players as prestigious as Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, Curtis Strange, Ian Woosnam, Severiano Ballesteros, Jose-Maria Olazabal or Colin Montgomerie. This Club has been and will continue to host European tournaments (the European Tour in the 80s and currently the Challenge Tour and other international junior and senior tournaments).

A few minutes south of Brussels, the Château de la Bawette Golf course, dominated by the Château and the Club-House, has been fitted out in one of the most beautiful properties in the region.
This privileged, very central location is a decisive advantage for all those who seek to combine sport and relaxation, in a setting conducive to family life and business relationships.
This wonderful green setting brings that invaluable touch provided by things installed for a few hundred years.
The Park was designed by Tom McAuley in 1986, but some holes were modified by Alain Prat between 2009 and 2012. Some front tees have also been added to make it more "fair" in order to accommodate the highest handicaps without problems.
The 18-hole course
The Club offers in this sumptuous setting an 18-hole course whose diversity will delight players of all levels, and will amaze nature lovers.
If the place invites you to stroll with its hilly landscapes, its ponds and streams, and its very beautiful trees, players are strongly advised not to be too distracted by this nature - unfortunately! - under penalty of returning to the 19th hole with a slightly average score ...
The course is indeed difficult to negotiate because of these natural elements and some out of bounds. But this very challenging course will encourage more than one to come back to try to beat it. The Park's record is only 69… therefore advice to amateurs…
