Golf d'Arcangues

The Makila Golf Bayonne Bassussarry is a golf course of character in the heart of the Basque Country. It is located at the gates of the city of Bayonne, in the town of Bassussarry, and just 10 minutes from the beaches of Biarritz.

It is in this idyllic setting that the American architect, Rocky Roquemore expressed his talent. Indeed, he knew how to perfectly integrate the 18-hole course in a grandiose natural site. Each hole thus harmoniously marries valleys and natural reliefs, to offer golfers of all levels the pleasure of the little white ball.

Its 18-hole course nestles in the middle of an oak forest. Its wide fairways stretch between bodies of water, hundred-year-old trees and numerous bunkers dominated by the Rhune and the Pyrenees.
The Makila Golf Bayonne Bassussarry has a large fleet of golf carts. Thus, it will allow you to play in the best conditions, all year round, and without getting too tired.

Ilbarritz golf course is located in Bidart in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It deploys its greens and fairways along the Atlantic coast and its seafront near long strongly folded cliffs overlooking a few beaches.
The 9-hole course facing the ocean
Little brother of the Golf de Biarritz le Phare golf course, the Ilbarritz course is a 9-hole, par 32, 2176 meters long. Designed in the same spirit as the practice, for learning, it is a very technical course. It will appeal to all golf and nature lovers.

The Ilbarritz International Golf Training Center
The Ilbarritz International Golf Training Center was officially opened in 1988, the centenary of the Biarritz-Le Phare golf course. Located on an exceptional site, this original concept was developed by the architect Pierre THEVENIN.

The training center workshops allow you to train according to your wishes. From small to big game, on carpet or on grass, on flat or sloping ground ... Everything at Golf d'Ilbarritz allows you to work on your swing.

This space is the training ground for top-level golfers. Also, it is also ideal for taking your first steps on a golf course. All year round, the Ilbarritz schools offer individual lessons as well as introductory and advanced training courses.

The Golf de Biarritz le Phare is located in the elegant seaside town of the Basque coast, in the south-west of France. Legendary golf, it has seduced golfers from all over the world for over a century.
A golf course steeped in history
In 1888 the Biarritz le Phare golf course was already welcoming its first players ...
One hundred years later, the Ilbarritz Training Center, a unique complex in Europe, was also born. In the space of a century, the Biarritz le Phare golf course has become a legend of golf. It has hosted many international events and has seen the emergence of great champions such as Arnaud Massy, ​​Jean Gassiat, Eugène Laffite or Pierre Hirigoyen.
A Centenary Course
Designed by architect Willy DUNN in 1888, the Golf de Biarritz le Phare covers 34 hectares. It deploys its greens and fairways over a distance of 5402 meters to offer an exceptional Par 69.

Relatively short, this 18-hole course is nevertheless very technical. With more than 70 bunkers, fast greens, a wild rough ... it is not easy to score there. Close to the ocean, it enjoys a very temperate climate all year round: mild in winter, rarely too hot in summer.
