Golf du Cognac

Created in 1953, 5 minutes from downtown Saintes, Golf Louis Rouyer-Guillet is the oldest golf course in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
The 18-hole course
Its 18-hole course combines technique with the pleasure of playing. It allows golfers of all levels to express themselves thanks to the variety of playing situations. The first 9 holes are quite sporty but you can always rent a cart ... The last 9 holes offer an exceptional view of the city of Saintes.

Also, the charm of the Golf of Saintes Louis-Rouyer Guillet is underlined by the presence of the remains of the Gallo-Roman aqueduct serving the ancient capital of Aquitaine of Mediolanum Santonum.
The "Signature" holes

The seventh hole is the most difficult on the course. All the shots to be played on this hole will be difficult. Indeed, it is long, uphill, dogleg, with difficult bunkers and a sloping green. You have to lean on the right of the fairway all the way through the hole, trying to avoid obstacles. From the white boules, it's almost a Par 5.
The eleventh hole of the Saintes Louis-Rouyer Guillet golf course is a very small Par 3, but watch out for the very small green with water in front and a bunker behind on the right. So you have to be careful with the wind, close your eyes and play a 110m stroke (from the white boules). All players who have played well on the first leg will be "afraid" of this hole in stroke play.

The Angoulême-L'Hirondelle golf course extends right in the heart of the city over 35 hectares. It is an 18-hole par 70 course of 5350 meters. Ideally located in the wood of Saint-Martin, you will discover a golf course full of charm and technicality.
The city of Angoulême, with its ramparts, will accompany you all along the route. Indeed, you will enjoy a superb view in a succession of holes which alternate short fairways, greens and formidable approaches.
In addition, the hilly area will require a confident and trained step but the greens will allow you to stop to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city.

The Vallade golf course is located in Saint-Porchaire, a town in southwestern France, in the Charente-Maritime department. It has a compact 9-hole golf course and a Pitch and Putt.

The golf de la Vallade is an idyllic place in Charente-Maritime. It deploys its greens and fairways around an authentic castle dating from the 16th century. It was created following the terrible storm of December 1999 which devastated the land it currently occupies. Now perfectly maintained, it seduces with its decor dotted with bodies of water, umbrella pines, oaks and chestnut trees.
The 9-hole Compact
The 9-hole Compact Golf course at Château de la Vallade can be played in an hour and a half. This 9-hole course comes in 3 par 4 and 6 par 3. It is technical, fun and involves your thinking. Beginners will be more comfortable on the Pitch & Putt Course.
Pitch & Putt course
The Pitch & Putt at the Vallade golf course is ideal for learning or improving your golf skills. The holes vary between 30 and 90 meters and allow the golfer to work on his game and to calibrate his distances when wedging.
