Situated 8 kilometers from Bristol city centre, Bristol & Clifton Golf Club is a serene gem, just minutes from the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The course at Bristol & Clifton is a park type course, heavily wooded and undulating. Featuring a length of 6413 yards with a par of 70, the club course offers a varied and challenging test for all golfers. Whether you are an expert or a novice, it will allow you to achieve good moves that will leave you with a real feeling of satisfaction, thanks in particular to the obstacles to overcome, intelligently designed and arranged to represent a balanced challenge. Among the natural obstacles are an old quarry and tree thorns that dot the course. Note that the majority of the holes are dog-legs, which promises to test the skills of the players.
This beautiful park-like, hilly and distinctive golf course was established in 1891. Regularly hosting prestigious events, the club has had the honor of hosting the Carris Trophy, the English Boys Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship, in 2021; the course has earned a reputation as one of the best in the region. The club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2016 and hosted the English Women's Open Stroke Play Championship in recognition of the achievement.
Green Fees are £60 on weekdays and £70 on weekends.
