Barceló Costa Ballena Ocean - Hôtel Golf & Spa

The Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club is located on the Atlantic coast in the province of Cadiz, very close to the Doñana National Park and surrounded by historic towns such as Rota, Sanlucar de Barrameda, Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Seville.

MAIN COURSE (27 HOLES)

A magnificent design by Olazábal demanding with the lowest handicaps, and benevolent for lower level players thanks to numerous starting areas. It is a relatively flat course with a few holes bordering the beach. The large undulating greens and wide fairways are mischievously defended by strategically placed bunkers and lakes. It is a par 72 for a length ranging from 6215 meters (white balls) to 5155 meters (red loops).

COURSE OF 9 HOLES - 9 PAR 3 - PITCH AND PUTT

Ideal for perfecting your little game and your game of irons. The shorter hole is 100 yards and the longest is 180 yards. This Pitch and Putt course approved by the Spanish federation is appreciated by many golfers. Indeed, this one benefits from the same quality of maintenance as the long course.

THE PRACTICE OF COSTA BALLENA OCEAN GOLF CLUB

The Practice at the Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club is one of the largest in Europe. With a width of 300 m (120 players at the same time) and a length of 350 m; on the first line of the beach. Golfers can practice on mats or on grass. All practice stations are equipped with lighting for training and playing golf even at night.

PUTTING GREEN AND APPROACH ZONE

A large putting green with different grids where you can practice all kinds of putts. The approach green allows you to practice intermediate shots up to about 60 meters. You will have a pitching area on grass and small rough and many training bunkers.

CLUB HOUSE

The Costa Ballena Golf has a comfortable Club House; beautifully located, with bar, restaurant, Pro-shop with the best golf brands, changing rooms, showers, saunas, gym and a terrace with views of the course and the sea. A meeting room that can accommodate 56 people; a golf school with the most advanced techniques (Trackman swing analyzer).
