Located on the Sénilhac plateau in Ceyssac, the Puy-en-Velay golf course offers a superb view of the city.
Its famous volcanoes and monuments such as the Notre-Dame du Puy cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers you a splendid panorama all along the route.
The chapel of Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe or the fortress of Polignac, are all treasures to be discovered from the various departures, greens and fairways of the course.
With its maintained fairways, its strategically placed bunkers and its dry stone walls so typical of Velay, the public golf course of the agglomeration of Puy-en-Velay will appeal to amateurs and experienced players. The course consists of 9 holes, for a par 36, and 3 meters long. The greens are well defended and the face-offs are often tricky, notably with a piece of water along the fairways of holes 019 and 3.
Even if the Puy-en-Velay golf course is not built by the sea, you will see that it retains the charm and the technical interest of a left-wing Scottish.
