Located in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, in an exceptionally beautiful setting, the EcoGolf Ariège-Pyrénées, designed by Michel Gayon, offers you an 18-hole course, of astonishing diversity, combining playing comfort and technicality. The site also offers you a compact 18-hole course, a practice of 30 mats including 10 covered posts including a grass area, as well as a putting green and an approach green.
History
The Ariège golf course is the property of the department. The Ecogolf is managed by the Ariège golf club association. It is the only golf course in Ariège, created in 1986. It was in January 2008 that the Ecogolf project was launched, on the basis of territorial development using already existing golf equipment. In spring 2012, launch of the program in its 3 components of environmental practices, innovative tourist golf and citizen golf open to all. The PNR qualifies and labels the process. October 2013 announces the completion of the Ecogolf works. 6 months later, in April 2014, the inauguration of the Ariège-Pyrénées Ecogolf finally took place.
Ecogolf charter
Ecogolf, an eco-responsible golf course labeled by the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, a model of sustainable and ecological management in France.
The Ariège-Pyrénées Ecogolf and its courses (3 golf courses + a discovery walk open to all) extend in an ecological domain of 75 hectares. On the wooded areas and groves as on the parts intended for the game, sustainable maintenance is the subject of a unique agreement in France with the Natural Park of the Pyrenees Ariégeoises and the French Golf Federation. Here, gardeners water only with rainwater stored in hill reservoirs, fertilize at a minimum, prevent and treat grass diseases while respecting the ecosystem and in the transparent search for the most suitable solutions. The promise of Ecogolf is to guarantee at the same time the natural resources, the health of each one and the conditions of practice of the golf worthy of the best courses.

PAR 71 of 5943 meters, altitude 600 meters on the Plantaurel massif. This world-class course is one of the most beautiful and authentic in the Pyrenees, where golf was born in continental Europe.

Compact / Pitch & Putt

Technical and hilly, it is the ideal complement to the 18-hole course. Initiation on a real golf course; training for those who wish to find the sacred key to the game. Learn and perform are the key words.

Practice course

Avant-garde game course in France on the driving range (training area). Circuit of 14 workshops open to all.
