In addition to the incessant slopes, which will rarely allow you to play flat, you will have to negotiate the small rivers, very present on the course and often in play.
The Charm of Alsace - Mountain Golf between Vines and Forests
A mountain golf course between vineyards and forests, the Golf d'Ammerschwihr is a course with a lot of character. A discovery of Alsace at a glance. At the start of hole n° 14, the centuries seem to have suspended their flight: at the foot, the Walbach Valley and the forest; opposite, the vineyards on the famous slopes; between the two slopes, the steeple of the Saint-Martin church emerging from the brown roofs with the glazed tiles of the village. We can make out the ocher walls and the characteristic half-timbering, with the plain stretching as far as the eye can see as a backdrop.
For the less trained, the cart is recommended, in order to make the most of the panorama offered (especially at the top of hole n ° 12). Golf and nature lovers, the Golf Resort Ammerschwihr Trois Epis will seduce you.

A magnificent 18-hole course playable all year round

The course
Par 71 of 5772 meters, the Golf des Bouleaux combines tradition, simplicity and naturalness. This route will take you to the heart of the Alsatian landscape where forests and bodies of water become entangled.
You will need to have a large, solid game so as not to leave the fairways that slip into the woods. Water hazards that protect many greens will require precise second shots.
During your round of golf, you will be seduced by the subtle atmosphere of the mists above the lakes on spring and autumn mornings, or by the shadows of the centuries-old trees on summer afternoons.
History
The history of Golf des Bouleaux is not trivial ...
It all starts with a horseback riding course where Renée Seiller, emeritus rider, trains. Leaving Alsace, it leaves, at the gates of Mulhouse, a clearing quickly transformed into a Swin-Golf course, an activity in vogue at the beginning of the 80s.
In 1992, the land was quickly transformed into a real 9-hole golf course, set in a forest of oak and birch trees.
Very quickly, the idea of an 18 hole hit the members' minds. Its inauguration will take place in 2003.
Since 2013, the Golf Club des Bouleaux golf course has been reorganized around a new Club House.
The Golf de Saint-Dié-des-Vosges or Golf de La Ligne Bleue des Vosges offers a compact 9-hole urban course within the sports park in the Vosges forest.
It has flexible departures (18 departures). They are useful for working on different golf strokes and thus understanding each hole in a different way.
This compact 9-hole course on the edge of Meurthe is ideal for beginners. It will allow you in a green setting to quietly initiate yourself to golf. It is also useful and pleasant for the more experienced golfer. Indeed, this one will be able to perfect his little game and work on his set of irons with holes ranging from 80 m for the shortest to 180 m for the longest. In addition, the Golf de La Ligne Bleue des Vosges organizes ffgolf approved competitions twice a month.
The Europa-Park Golfclub Breisgau offers an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole pay & play public course. Surrounded by vineyards, the magnificent views of the Black Forest, the Vosges and the Kaiserstuhl make this course particularly attractive. Slight drops, hundred-year-old trees, several water hazards, greens and delicate bunkers require golfers of all disabilities to play strategically.
This golf resort is located in a picturesque landscape and currently has 36 holes, which offer an exceptional panoramic view of the Alps, the Black Forest and the Vosges. It is intended for golfers of all levels. When the weather permits, a panoramic view of the "two rivers of the Rhine" - the old Rhine and the accessory Rhine canal - unfolds in front of the Black Forest as a backdrop.
The Markgräflerland Kandern golf course is located in the southwest of Germany, in the foothills of the Black Forest, in what is called the "border triangle". 8 km to the west is the Rhine and the French border and 15 km to the south is the city of Basel in Switzerland.

GC Markgräflerland Kandern is a private golf club, affiliated with the golf associations of Switzerland and Germany. Visitors are welcome from Monday to Friday by reservation. Rougemont le Château golf course dominates the Meuse valley, between Namur and Dinant. The only golf course in the region, it is located at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace, offering views of the Vosges, the Jura and the Swiss Alps. The course offers exceptional panoramas of hills and forests.
The 18-hole course
Sporty for its slopes and technical for the precision of the shots required, the hilly 18-hole course of the Rougemont golf course will delight golfers of all levels.
An original and varied route
The layout is varied and all the holes display a pictorial name, linked to the site, to a flower, a tree. The most original, in the shape of a horseshoe, the 13 nicknamed the Conciergerie draws a U. Known in the region, this par 4 of 375 meters may surprise. Indeed, one would be tempted to pass above the trees directly towards the flag but a local rule prohibits this option considered as “out of bounds” for safety reasons.
A castle as a clubhouse
The castle serving as a clubhouse is magnificent while its terrace overlooks the entire valley. A little anecdote in this original club, the annual subscription to the Rougemont golf course is calculated according to your age ... Thus increasing over the years, it is however capped at 1150 € so as not to ruin the seniors!
The Golfclub Güterman Gutach eV was founded in 1924 and is one of the oldest golf courses in Germany. All nine holes meet all current standards. They are integrated into an English-style park landscape with lots of water and are framed by beautiful old houses and tall wild fir trees. The first five holes and holes 8 and 9 are flat, and even the gently rolling fairways of holes 6 and 7 require only a minimum of sporting ability. However, the reconstruction of the course has made its design rather demanding. The training possibilities are good. The practice ground is located off the main course and offers covered tee areas.
