Golf de Bitche offers 3 courses of 9 holes each just over an hour's drive from Strasbourg and 1h30 from Metz. This golf course located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges will offer you courses that can be practiced all year round. Its long par 4 or 5, swept by a very present wind, offer difficulties that spice up the game, both for beginners and experienced players. A few water obstacles adorn this course, designed by Adam and Formanger. Thanks to its numerous infrastructures and the quality of the equipment and the courses, the Bitche golf course ranks 9th in the Top 10 of the best golf courses in Europe.
Created in 1935, the Strasbourg Golf Club is the oldest of Alsatian golf courses. Indeed, it is one of the oldest golf courses in all of eastern France. It now covers more than 120 hectares and has 27 holes. Also, a large, superbly landscaped practice and 4 training holes complete its offer.
Ideally located less than 15 minutes from the Cathedral, Place Kléber or the airport, this dean of Alsatian golf courses is proud of its traditions and its excellent sports record.
A fairly traditional course with a few water hazards and trees for the main difficulties, the Golf de Strasbourg benefits from excellent quality fairways, and rolling and well-defended greens.
Three 9-hole courses
Traditionally and taking into account the design, the White and Yellow courses are united in the classic 18-hole configuration over a length of 6162 meters for a par 72 while the Red course displays 2885 meters for a par 36.
As often on old courses, the difficulty comes from the approaches to small raised greens with narrow access. Strasbourg-Illkirch is no exception to this rule even if some water features add their touch of difficulty such as hole 4 to 7 for White and on holes 2, 7 and 9 for Red.
The latest addition to the Strasbourg trilogy, the Rouge is also a little more complicated with tight shots between the trees from hole 4 to 6 and sustained attention throughout the course.
Chosen in turn to compose the course of the day, the three configurations offer a range of strokes that never generate monotony. Faced with such a variety, one can regret that the club is reserved for its only members during the weekends. Classic in private clubs!
The Kempferhof golf course is an 18-hole course. It is located 15km from the center of Strasbourg and is based on an area of 85 hectares stretched along the Rhine River. Undoubtedly, the Kempferhof golf course deserves its international reputation, ranked among the 30 best courses in Europe, attracting amateur and professional golfers from all over the world.
The course
The American architect Bob Van Hagge knew how to exploit the natural assets of the site to perfection: today the trees, valleys, hillocks and ponds existing before the creation of the Kempferhof golf course in 1988 are integrated into the course. formidable 150-meter stretch of water separating the tee from the green of hole n ° 14, or even from the pond preceding the double green of hole n ° 18 as an apotheosis: no less than 13 bodies of water punctuate the fairways like so many natural obstacles. If the beautiful outlook of the course suggests an easy progression, concentration and precision are essential in the game of attacking the greens, reserving the players some memorable technical passes.

The 9-hole course
9 holes | 2277m | By 32 | Architect: Bernhard Langer (1996)
A perfect playing area for novices who hold the green card. Indeed, this charming 9-hole course, par 32, is ideal for preparing for the challenges of the "big field". This is particularly pleasant for golfers who do not yet have a lot of experience: among the various departures, only one presents a fun water hazard. But experienced players like to use this ground to perfect their approaches and their little game.

Very quickly, the idea of an 18 hole hit the members' minds. Its inauguration will take place in 2003.
Since 2013, the Golf Club des Bouleaux golf course has been reorganized around a new Club House.

Indeed the narrowness of certain holes with wooded fairways of hundred-year-old trees and the presence of numerous greens with double plates, known for their speed will spice up your game. However, with a good game strategy, the design turns out to be quite lenient and should show some "Par" and "Birdie" on your scorecard.
Designed in 1928 on the coronation route and in the heart of the Champagne vineyards by architect Tom Simpson, the original 9 holes of the course were extended to 18 holes in 1973 by Michael Fenn, giving rise to a magnificent English inland course.
The warm clubhouse, located in the Château des Dames de France, offers tasty cuisine to be enjoyed in the restaurant around a large fire or in summer in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees.
