Located 10 km from Le Havre, the golf course of Le Havre, if it does not seem to present any particular difficulties when you discover it, nevertheless remains a course that you will have to approach with respect to play your handicap on the 5793 m (Par 71 ) of this course and its 9-hole pitch and putt.
Be particularly wary of its medium sized and very well defended greens, its not very wide fairways surrounded by very penalizing thick roughs and its many out of bounds. You will also not forget a few trees never far from the fairways. And to finish the formidable hole n ° 18 where anything can happen ... However, in spite of the often present wind in Normandy, the golf of Le Havre is not difficult physically speaking because very flat and therefore affordable without cart by all.
In addition, the welcome you will receive at the clubhouse and at the restaurant will leave you with unforgettable memories of your stay in Le Havre.
The Golf de Bévilliers, in Gonfreville l'Orcher, welcomes you in the warm setting of its 9-hole course. and its 1924th century Renaissance mansion, listed as historical monuments since XNUMX.
Within a wooded park, the Golf de Bévilliers is the ideal place to improve or discover the practice of golf. At the bend of a bridle path sheltered by hundred-year-old trees, the architect Stuart Hallet has designed a strategic course with a clear layout underlined by synthetic greens to play there all year round.
Training areas:
A small game area: 1 putting green. You will be able to practice your putts of all lengths, as well as putts. 1 approach green.
A great game area: About forty practice stations. Work on your swing with the same sensations as on a course. Two synthetic greens are at your disposal on the practice as well as 5 natural greens all defended by bunkers to put you in a real playing situation. To guide you, targets are distributed on the practice at different distances.
Grass area: open from April to the end of October.

The Golf d'Étretat is located in Seine-Maritime in the Normandy region. It offers a course of rare and wild beauty which overhangs the Norman cliffs and the bay of Étretat.
History
The Golf d'Étretat has a long history. Indeed, if it opened its doors in 1908, the first draft works date from 1906. At the very beginning, there were only 11 holes. There was not only golf on the course: at Manneporte, there was a pigeon shooting range!
Also, the old clubhouse was located at the level of the current departure of hole number 11.
Back then, it was the place to show off; Étretat was then mainly frequented by a Parisian clientele who came in the footsteps of the Impressionists. It is also from hole number 11 that you can see the ruins of Fort Fréfossé which overlooked the bay.
The whole course has evolved enormously since its creation but the last big modification dates back to 1990 when the terrain was widely extended. It was already in 18 holes at the time but today better distributed over 5 hectares more.
The sea, the cliffs and the scorecard!
The course is built on the cliffs of Étretat and the sea is visible from every hole. It is a seaside course where the wind plays a key role. The prevailing wind often comes from the west even if in spring, we can have a totally opposite wind. Here, it is called the nordet (north-easterly wind). It can be quite cool and powerful in the order of 25 to 30 knots (55 km / h). We usually say that in Étretat, we can have four seasons on the same day.
Arnaud Massy Architect of the Etretat golf course
Arnaud Massy is at the origin of the design of the golf course with the architect Julien Chantepie. Together they rode the first 11 holes. Massy, winner of the British Open 1907, then went to play elsewhere. But he ended his career here, and some of the former members even had him as a pro in 1948 and 1950, just before he passed away.
The Golf d'Étretat receives good people: Jean Garaïalde came to play here, like Michel Platini or Yannick Noah ...
Hole number 10, the Étretat icon
It is the most famous hole of the course, the one that we see in all the photos. Its beauty comes from its elevated departures, which give a rather dizzying view. It has always been the handicap 1 hole of the Golf d'Étretat course (the most difficult hole of the course). You have to stay on the fairway at all costs. New players arriving at the Alabaster Coast often break their teeth on this hole. We have already seen a player do 33 here. He must have lost about fifteen balls at the start.
18 holes between sky and sea
The Étretat golf course is an 18-hole course - PAR 72 - 6 m long.
This golf course enjoys an exceptional location, overlooking the sea and the bay of Étretat. The various magazines classify it each year among the best French golf courses. It is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable "marine golf courses" in France.
If you come to play golf in Normandy, playing on the Étretat course you will discover a demanding terrain as soon as the wind blows, but whatever your score you will remember a magical moment.

Located in the middle of the Normandy countryside and partly dominated by Beuzeval castle, the Houlgate golf course offers unique panoramas of the region. Created in 1981 in a landscaped park and located in Gonneville-sur-Mer, between Cabourg and Deauville and 30 minutes from Caen, the variety of holes is a real pleasure.
After the first three holes traced around a body of water, the promenade takes golfers along slightly undulating fairways and bordered by bushy hedges, then plunges into the Norman bocage and ends up climbing to the top of a hill which offers an exceptional panorama!
The variety of holes is a real pleasure. They each have their own identity even if, with a slope of 130 and several sloping fairways, the playing conditions require a solid technical background. An excellent iron game and a sharp strategy will be necessary to hope to score.
Perfectly maintained, this course is ideally integrated into a rich and green nature.
The Cabourg public golf course was born in 1988, under the leadership of Michel Moles, then Mayor of Cabourg. The land belongs to the municipality and the management of the golf course is entrusted to a public establishment with industrial and commercial interest, an EPIC which also manages the local tennis club.
The Cabourg public golf course is a relatively flat 9-hole course. The land overlooks the marshes and vegetation is present there. A few water obstacles and a bunker protect the greens, promising a little difficulty for the more adventurous.
One of the particularities of the Cabourg public golf course is that it does not take reservations. Departures are staggered in order of arrival of the players. The course, located at the entrance to the city, is open to everyone!
Halfway between Dieppe, Etretat and Rouen, the Normandy Côte-d'Albâtre Golf Course consists of several infrastructures and thus offers a complete range of games. The flagship of this set is of course the 18-hole course.
The Vallons
Par 72, 6140 meters
Built by the French architect Alain Prat recognized for his straightforward tracks, quite playable by neophytes, but which also know how to be relevant for more experienced players from the back-tees (slope 133).
Slightly hilly and wooded, the course stretches through the heart of the Pays de Caux. If it is a real parkland, it sometimes recalls the spirit of links, with its tall yellow grass which marks out certain holes.
Special mentions for hole n ° 3, where the architect seems to have used all his know-how, or even holes n ° 13 and n ° 18, which sometimes give the impression, by their atmosphere, of being far from Normandy, on Scottish soil. With natural elements like wind and rain, this course will get tough and may give you some cold sweats.
Compact Golf
This 9-hole course will suit all types of players, beginners and experienced. It will be the playground for the Golf School and the Academy, in order to prepare and organize the various courses and training camps. All the Green Card level tests will take place on this school course.
Compact of 1 m, Par 630
Pitch & Putt of 1m, Par 062

The Golf de Cabourg le Home-Varaville is located in Varaville, a charming French town, in the Calvados department in the Normandy region, about 5km from the center of Cabourg
,The 18-hole course of the Cabourg le Home-Varaville golf course has all the charm and magic of a century-old golf course combined with the architecture of more modern courses. It offers an original mix between sea and marsh with holes ranging from 91 to 510m. Thus, its greens and fairways extend over a distance of 5256 meters to offer a Par 69 of great beauty. Its main difficulty, like many seaside courses, will come from the orientation and the strength of the wind.
The sea side with British influence
You will find on the “sea” part a succession of holes with the accents of the British links. The main difficulty will lie in the precision and trajectory of your shots. In effect. the sea part of the Golf de Cabourg le Home-Varaville will ask you to handle the ball well, to control its height and trajectory (Draw, Fade, low ball ...) All in an ideal setting a few steps from the Home-Varaville beach and whose highlight is hole number 16 where you will have a breathtaking view of the beaches bordering the English Channel from Le Havre to Ouistreham.
The Marais area - The charm of the Normandy countryside
For the "marsh" part of the Golf de Cabourg le Home-Varaville, a change of scenery and strategy. Here the course is longer, more modern and consists of a few parts of water on holes going up to more than 500m like hole number 5. This part will offer you a very nice walk in the marshes and the Norman bocage.
The Golf d'Arnouville consists of two courses: 9 holes & 9 holes school. The fairways are natural and the greens synthetic. This is the originality of this golf course validated by the FFG.
