History
Created in 1990, it is the work of the American architect Robin Nelson and the French landscape designer Thierry Huau who have managed to preserve the natural beauty of the site.
Note that the course has been modified and that the two new holes (12 and 13) were designed by the French architect Manuel Rossi.
The course
Ranked among the 25 most beautiful golf courses in France, the course penetrates the woods of the Château estate, follows natural valleys and crosses water features. On 60 hectares, its layout respects the hundred-year-old trees, the undergrowth full of ferns and the immense beds of rhododendrons.
The Vaudreuil golf course is located in an exceptional setting. It is in a place steeped in history, only one hour from Paris that you will enjoy top-of-the-range facilities and one of the most beautiful 18-hole courses in France.
The course
Par 72 of 6 meters (Back Tees)
The PGA Vaudreuil golf course, which hosts a professional Challenge Tour tournament every year, is very popular for its setting, its maintenance, but also the variety of golfing situations it offers.
Considered one of the most beautiful in France, over the years it has become a staunch fan for both beginners and experienced players.
The fairways lined with hundred-year-old trees and the technical greens, designed by Fred Hawtree, make the Vaudreuil a true championship course.

The Golf d'Étretat is located in Seine-Maritime in the Normandy region. It offers a course of rare and wild beauty which overhangs the Norman cliffs and the bay of Étretat.
History
The Golf d'Étretat has a long history. Indeed, if it opened its doors in 1908, the first draft works date from 1906. At the very beginning, there were only 11 holes. There was not only golf on the course: at Manneporte, there was a pigeon shooting range!
Also, the old clubhouse was located at the level of the current departure of hole number 11.
Back then, it was the place to show off; Étretat was then mainly frequented by a Parisian clientele who came in the footsteps of the Impressionists. It is also from hole number 11 that you can see the ruins of Fort Fréfossé which overlooked the bay.
The whole course has evolved enormously since its creation but the last big modification dates back to 1990 when the terrain was widely extended. It was already in 18 holes at the time but today better distributed over 5 hectares more.
The sea, the cliffs and the scorecard!
The course is built on the cliffs of Étretat and the sea is visible from every hole. It is a seaside course where the wind plays a key role. The prevailing wind often comes from the west even if in spring, we can have a totally opposite wind. Here, it is called the nordet (north-easterly wind). It can be quite cool and powerful in the order of 25 to 30 knots (55 km / h). We usually say that in Étretat, we can have four seasons on the same day.
Arnaud Massy Architect of the Etretat golf course
Arnaud Massy is at the origin of the design of the golf course with the architect Julien Chantepie. Together they rode the first 11 holes. Massy, winner of the British Open 1907, then went to play elsewhere. But he ended his career here, and some of the former members even had him as a pro in 1948 and 1950, just before he passed away.
The Golf d'Étretat receives good people: Jean Garaïalde came to play here, like Michel Platini or Yannick Noah ...
Hole number 10, the Étretat icon
It is the most famous hole of the course, the one that we see in all the photos. Its beauty comes from its elevated departures, which give a rather dizzying view. It has always been the handicap 1 hole of the Golf d'Étretat course (the most difficult hole of the course). You have to stay on the fairway at all costs. New players arriving at the Alabaster Coast often break their teeth on this hole. We have already seen a player do 33 here. He must have lost about fifteen balls at the start.
18 holes between sky and sea
The Étretat golf course is an 18-hole course - PAR 72 - 6 m long.
This golf course enjoys an exceptional location, overlooking the sea and the bay of Étretat. The various magazines classify it each year among the best French golf courses. It is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable "marine golf courses" in France.
If you come to play golf in Normandy, playing on the Étretat course you will discover a demanding terrain as soon as the wind blows, but whatever your score you will remember a magical moment.
The Granville golf course is a links unique in France, of an authenticity and character similar to the secular courses of Ireland or Scotland. Created in 1912 at the initiative of Messrs. De Venloo and Coste, the design of the golf course is entrusted to Harry Shapland Colt who has to his credit remarkable achievements such as Pines Valley (USA), Rye and Sunningdale (England).
The 18-hole course: The Links
The Links deploys its greens and fairways over approximately 6000 meters. Of rare authenticity, it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful golf courses in Normandy. High roughs, tricky little bunkers, seaside, vast fairways ... Everything is there to reconnect with the very essence of the game of golf. If you are in the region, this 18 hole course is definitely worth a detour!
In recent years, this golf course steeped in history has evolved. Thus, many bunkers have been created or worked in “Scottish style”. Strategically well placed, these "Bunker Traps" toughen up the game but also offer visually very aesthetic reliefs. The authenticity of this very old links born from the inspiration of Colt and Alison has been preserved and reinforced
Host of the Gounouilhou
For its centenary, the Granville golf course has hosted the Gounouilhou (The Gounouilhou Trophy is the name given to the first men's division of the French Club Golf Championship. It brings together every year in the spring, on a large French course, the sixteen clubs. of the country's amateur elite).
The 9-hole course: Les Dunes
To complete its offer, the Granville golf course also has a 9-hole course. The “Dunes” consists of 6 Par 4 and 3 Par 3 to offer a superb Par 33 with magnificent greens. Also by the sea, this course is ideal for training before going to face the Links.
The Golf de Dieppe-Pourville is an associative and historical golf course, created in 1897 which overlooks the sea. The 18 holes of the golf of Dieppe-Pourville extend over more 60 hectares, with admirable points of view on the white cliffs of Pourville and Varengeville.
Its greens and fairways extend over a distance of 5804 meters on a hilly plateau. Also, many trees, bunkers and water obstacles make it a technical course. After a last view of the sea along hole n ° 18, the clubhouse, with its Anglo-Norman architecture, and its bar restaurant will welcome you in a warm and very friendly atmosphere.
Training zones
To complete its offer, the Golf de Dieppe-Pourville has numerous training areas:
Practice (18 stations including 6 covered)
Pitch and putt (5 holes)
Putting green
Training bunker
The Omaha Beach Golf has 2 18-hole courses, with distinct landscapes between land and sea. Let yourself be seduced by the "La Mer - Par 72" course overlooking the sea and the village of Port-En-Bessin.
You will also appreciate the hilly and wooded course "Le Manoir - Par 71", with its many ponds, always in a typically Norman atmosphere with its grove, its anthology of massif and fruit trees giving wonderful flowers in the spring.
The La Mer Course 18 holes - Par 72
The setting, on the green of hole 6, is magnificent. Placed at the end of the cliff by Yves Bureau, the architect, it overlooks the city of Port-en-Bessin and its boats, it offers a panorama on the artificial port of Arromanches, on the gun batteries of Longues-sur- Sea, still very present vestiges of the D-Day landings.
The sea can be seen on the green of n ° 1, long par 5 facing the wind, on 2, superb par 3 aligned with the Vauban Tower, at 6 of course but also at the start of 7, long par 4 which turn your back then on the green of 9, the start of which is located just behind the water obstacle. The blue of the sea and the green of the bocage are the dominant colors of this course which allows golfers of all levels to live their passion.
Le Manoir Course 18 holes - Par 71
Le Manoir is a feast for the eyes with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. This course turns out to be a real golfing challenge where all the shots must be carefully considered, from the drive to the putting. You will certainly not forget the sight of 2 and 3, the technicality of 4 and 5 and the face-offs of 6 and 9… All to your clubs!
Back-tee technique (Slope 146 black), this course becomes again soothing and quieter for players starting from the most advanced tees. Greenery and bodies of water will mingle with your walk for some, while the best undecided will have a hard time with formidable greens and dangerous roughs. A flexible route à la carte.
In the heart of its green hills, between Le Mans and Alençon, the Perche is home to a jewel that the ancients called “Belisma”. Later becoming Bellême and much later still, a golf course, the place has lost none of the beauty that earned it its name.
Located in the heart of the Perche regional natural park, two hours from Paris, on an exceptional site and next to one of the most beautiful national forests in France, the Domaine du Golf de Bellême offers you an 18-hole course as well as a hotel 3-star restaurant: the Normandy Country Club.
On the technical side, Eric Vialatel, the architect, has perfectly integrated into this grandiose site a PAR 72 of 5942 m which has a slope of 135 white landmarks. It is a varied course with some holes to be played blind and four holes with water obstacles (3, 8, 10 and 16). This course, announced without "extreme difficulty", however, has the particularity of being hilly, while ascending and descending ... This is why our packages with cart are greatly appreciated ... A few water hazards will bring variety, especially at hole n ° 16. This 3-meter par 150 has no fairway! You have to skilfully cross the water obstacle to reach the green. In addition, you can admire the superb panoramas on the Perche, especially at 6.
In the heart of Normandy, come and discover the Saint Saens golf course, in the center of the Eawy forest, the largest beech grove in France. This flagship of the Norman club welcomes you all year round.
A course as technical as it is pleasant: The Saint Saens course is a par 71 of 6009 meters. Varied, it is broken down into three distinct parts: the river, the forest, and the plateau which each offer different difficulties.
The “river” part from 1 to 5 is characterized by the Varenne which borders the fairways and the greens.
The "forest" part from 6 to 10 winds through the forest of beeches and hundred-year-old oaks.
The "plateau" part, the final, where the less narrow fairways allow the hitters to breathe a little, to finish with the cruel par 3 N ° 17 and, at 18, on a green bordered by bunkers with the superb castle in the background which offers the whole a real majesty.
Saint Saens offers you to play all possible golf shots in a unique and sumptuous setting. The omnipresence of the Eawy Forest and the castle dominating the valley give the golf course the elegance and natural charm of the Normandy countryside.
Halfway between Dieppe, Etretat and Rouen, the Normandy Côte-d'Albâtre Golf Course consists of several infrastructures and thus offers a complete range of games. The flagship of this set is of course the 18-hole course.
The Vallons
Par 72, 6140 meters
Built by the French architect Alain Prat recognized for his straightforward tracks, quite playable by neophytes, but which also know how to be relevant for more experienced players from the back-tees (slope 133).
Slightly hilly and wooded, the course stretches through the heart of the Pays de Caux. If it is a real parkland, it sometimes recalls the spirit of links, with its tall yellow grass which marks out certain holes.
Special mentions for hole n ° 3, where the architect seems to have used all his know-how, or even holes n ° 13 and n ° 18, which sometimes give the impression, by their atmosphere, of being far from Normandy, on Scottish soil. With natural elements like wind and rain, this course will get tough and may give you some cold sweats.
Compact Golf
This 9-hole course will suit all types of players, beginners and experienced. It will be the playground for the Golf School and the Academy, in order to prepare and organize the various courses and training camps. All the Green Card level tests will take place on this school course.
Compact of 1 m, Par 630
Pitch & Putt of 1m, Par 062
Opened in 1989, the Golf Barrière de Saint-Julien is located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge (a natural and traditional region of Normandy) a few minutes from downtown Pont-l'Évêque. The architects Alain Pratt and Bill Baker designed two golf courses in a totally British spirit. Le Vallon, championship ground, meandered by numerous water features and Le Bocage for less experienced players.
The valley
18 holes - 6035 m - PAR 72
Overlooking the entire Touques valley, this course is relatively easy on the outward journey and offers many possibilities for birdies for the more experienced. And for the more adventurous among you, with holes n ° 12, 13, 14 and 18, the return promises you great thrills!
The Bocage
