History
The Golf de Gaillon was born in 1988 under the initiative of a private initiative, accompanied by some founding members; A small, very technical training course, the 9-hole course designed by Didier Fruchet in 1987 started with around fifty members.
Today
Today the Gaillon golf course has an airy course, accessible to all; if the length of the game has gone from 2000 meters to 2822 meters, the fact remains that the spirit has not changed: conviviality is essential and the democratization of this sport a rule of conduct.
The 9-hole course
It offers an ideal course for a short but technical game. Although drawn on relatively flat terrain, this 9-hole course is technically rather selective. Just like the first hole, which immediately puts the golfer in the mood, with a long Par 4 with a narrow fairway and dog leg, embellished with well-placed bunkers. The rest of the course retains this spirit, with in particular out of bounds traps, with formidable roughs.

Robert hersant
Passionate about traveling and having played on a multitude of golf courses around the world, Robert Hersant drew his inspiration from his golfing escapades. The architecture of the Golf Parc is thus very largely inspired by "American" golf courses where the water features and target greens are legion. This particular design associated with this extraordinary environment gives the course a unique character. An imprint which took a long time to take shape due to the demands of the “artist Hersant” who, not satisfied with one detail, did not hesitate to have a hole reconstructed at the last moment to add a few more meters. .

More than just a round of golf, the Robert Hersant Golf Park offers an unforgettable ride over more than 6000 meters. It even becomes sublime in the fall when the trees take on an ocher, yellow, red and orange color and are reflected in the water.

However, the different teeing areas will allow players of all levels to fully express their golf. In addition, no hole looks the same and few places are flat, so it's a pretty technical course that awaits you.
The greens, sometimes hectic, are of excellent quality, and remarkably well maintained by the green-keeper team. Also, they are particularly well defended on certain holes (water obstacles on 2 par 3 on the way out).
From the green of 4, a magnificent view of the Villarceaux area will charm you whatever the season. In autumn, it is in a splendid glowing universe that you will discover all the facets of this very endearing course.

The course itself is very wooded, while being quite wide, and throughout the 18 holes, you will appreciate its side "in the countryside", far from the nuisances of the city. The greens are vast, and generally rather rolling.
West course
The West Priory Golf Course, the closest to the practice, was also designed by architect Fred Hawtree. You start with a Par 3 on the hillside, and the first six holes, which are more played "cold", are probably the hardest. But you will undoubtedly make up for it on the following holes. The course itself is very wooded, and you will feel far from the city. The holes are varied, the greens are vast, and generally rather rolling.

Between Rouen and Le Havre, just 1h30 from Paris, the Golf de Jumièges deploys its greens and fairways in the Regional Natural Park of the Loops of the Norman Seine. Created by the architect JP Fourès in 1991, at the instigation of the region and the departments of Eure and Seine Maritime, the Golf de Jumièges is the first public golf course in Upper Normandy.
The 18-hole course, Par 72, 6003 meters
The Jumiège golf course covers more than 60 hectares. Its fairways are tightly carved into the woods and some are slightly hilly. This requires a straight driver or the use of an iron at the start. It evolves in a majestic environment, in a loop of the Seine, on the fruit and orchard route and a stone's throw from the superb towers of the abbey. Made of forest areas on a dozen holes and plains, you never get bored. Also, it is embellished with some strategically placed obstacles (bunkers and lakes).
The compact Pitch and Putt course
The compact 9-hole course is Pitch and Putt approved for competitions. It consists only of Par 3 and will delight good players as well as beginners.
Technical by the smallness of these greens and varied both in terms of the layout and in terms of the distance of the holes.
This course is an excellent working tool for the little game.
Training areas
A practice of 50 stations, including 20 covered.
An approach area with bunker.
A 500 m2 putting green.

Located on the heights of Rouen, the Golf de Bois Guillaume combines the pleasure of playing and technical difficulties. The hilly and wooded course has water obstacles, bunkers and other traps that will surprise you throughout your game.
The course
With its 2400m, it is longer than a classic compact 9-hole course. The architect who made it is called Thierry Sprecher. Very renowned in his field, he worked on this project, in close collaboration with the founder-owner-manager of the golf course. The goal was to allow beginners to try it out but also to offer a nine-hole course allowing experienced players who have little time to benefit from a quality tool for training.
This fairly technical 9 hole par 35 is very hilly. Indeed, you rarely have your feet flat, far from it and that requires knowing how to adjust your stance and your swing according to the slope. Very well maintained, departures, greens, ... It offers interesting points of view thanks to its position in height, while skirting hundreds of meters of forest. As for the fairways, you have to wait for nature to do its work, but it is progressing quickly!
The route winds through the towns of Bois-Guillaume (11 ha) and Saint-Martin-du-Vivier (4 ha). With its two par 5s and a few other fairly complex holes to play, it fits naturally into the landscape, following the undulations of the terrain, without wearing down the ardor of those who roam it almost daily.
The Golf Training Center
Next door, the Golf Training Center will also allow you to work on all the golf strokes necessary to tame your course.
The center in a few figures:
9 holes, 2310m long, 100% sand quality green.

Large 600 m2 putting green with plateau.
Large training bunker.
3 pitch and putt holes.
Coated parking lot with 100 spaces.
Club house with restaurant
Open to everyone, adults and children, beginners and experienced.
