Royal St George's, more than a century old, was ranked first in England, certainly for its incomparable beauty and technicality. Thus, since the 1880s, this prestigious seaside course, located in Sandwich in Kent, 7 km from Deal, has hosted a number of amateur and professional tournaments, including of course the British Open played for the first time here, outside of Scotland.
