The Royal Club de Golf de la Herrería is located in one of the oldest oak forests in Spain. It was inaugurated in 1966. It is just 400 meters from the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial and 56km from the Gate of the Sun (Puerta del Sol) in Madrid.
It is a benchmark golf course in terms of Quality and Environmental Management. In fact it is the first course to have received and maintained since 2004 the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. Real Club De Golf La Herrería thus combines the tradition and new technologies.
Playing The Royal Club de Golf de la Herrería is a unique experience for all the senses. It organizes tours of the monastery and the Valle de los Caidos. It also has tennis courts, paddle and swimming pool.
