Penha Longa Golf Course offers three different courses: Atlantic Championship, Atlantic North and Atlantic South, offering completely different experiences through the beautiful hills of Sintra and Penha Longa Resort.
The 18-hole course: Atlantic Championship
The Atlantic Course is an 18 hole course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr. It opened in 1992 and hosted the Portuguese Open two years later. The course is very straightforward and the views are magnificent, especially over the coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.
The North Atlantic Course 9 Holes
The "Atlantic North" course, also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, is the perfect complement to its counterpart course. It is the combination of the first 9 holes of the Championship Course with the breathtaking landscapes of the surrounding national park, creating an astonishing layout, also characterized by fast greens and narrow fairways, offering varied challenges suitable for all levels of play.
The South Atlantic 9 Holes Course
The "Atlantic South" course, designed by the same architect, is the perfect marriage between the last 9 holes of the Championship Course and the Old Monastery Course, creating different situations and challenges, you will feel that you are playing in a magical place in a unique atmosphere in Sintra.

The verdant hills of the Sintra Mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop to the Pestana Beloura Golf Course. Here, the famous American architect Rocky Roquemore has designed a golf course that will allow you to stimulate your imagination and your technique. Indeed, this varied 18-hole course offers a pleasant challenge for golfers of all levels.

More than 40.000 eucalyptus, oaks, pines, magnolias, palms and other exotic trees and plants have been planted on this course. Relatively short for a Par 72 (5.573 meters from the BackTees and 5.173 meters from the women's tee) and slightly wavy, the Beloura Golf - Pestana Resort remains fairly technical. Water comes into play on several of the holes where lakes and streams cross the fairways and protect the greens offering an exciting golfing challenge.
