Aloha Golf Club

The Royal Club de Golf Las Brisas is an 18-hole course located in the heart of New Andalusia, in the so-called Golf Valley. The Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is one of the oldest on the Costa del Sol.

The intense professional activity of Robert Trent Jones, one of the most famous golf course architects, reached its peak in 1969 with the opening of the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas.

Trent Jones has created a course that demands technique and precision from the players. The route has many water obstacles including ten artificial lakes and many bunkers that defend greens which are mostly elevated. All this in the unique natural setting of the Andalusian province.
History
In the 60s and 70s, when Spain's Costa del Sol was experiencing a construction boom, the competition for beautiful Mediterranean vistas was fierce and usually won by residential construction projects. The Real Club de Golf Las Brisas has managed to claim a beautiful location and has remained for almost half a century at the center of the Spanish golf world.

The country's tourism board has done a lot to promote this championship course, especially when the European Tour started, when it helped organize the Spanish Open here, just a few years after Las Brisas opened. .

On a hilly site with a resolutely American feel, the recently renovated clubhouse meets the needs of more than a thousand members from over thirty different countries.

The harmonious landscaping created by Englishman Gerald Huggan perfectly complements the design of the golf course. Like a botanical garden, plants and trees from all the continents of the world fill the route with imagination and color. Here you will find rare species from Africa such as Cape Chestnut and Thorny Acacias, Indian Laurel and Mysore Ficus from Asia, Chorisia Spciosa from America, Green Ash from Mexico and Piping Pine from Australia , combined with many palms and Mediterranean trees.
