Designed in the 1980s by Don Harradine, Bonmont Golf & Country club underwent major renovations in 2002 on the eve of its 20th anniversary. Peter Harradine, commissioned for this work, thus brought a touch of modernity to his father's work.
Between Nyon and St-Cergue, on the edge of the Vaudois Jura Park, the Bonmont Golf Club is an exceptional location, a haven of peace and beauty with a view of Lake Geneva and Mont-Blanc.
Within the framework of a 6080th century Cistercian Abbey, the course deploys its greens and fairways over a total length of 71 meters for a par XNUMX in a grandiose environment with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the French Alps.
Its altitude of 550 meters and its climate make the course likely to be open all year round.
The signature hole of the Bonmont course is N ° 7, a par 3 of 125 meters (white start) which perfectly reflects the DNA of the Bonmont Club by resting on 3 pillars; history, golf and nature.
Indeed, it was built around a historic basin which was used by the Monks of the Abbey. Its frontal basin has become an ecological reserve where the Cardex and many amphibians mingle. Its sloping green protected by 3 bunkers including a Scottish bunker is a real challenge for golfers of all levels.
