The Golf de Laval et de la Mayenne is located near Laval, on the borders of Anjou, Normandy and Brittany, on the territory of the department of Mayenne, in the heart of Maine. This magnificent course reflects both rusticity and elegance, strength and harmony.
The Laval and Mayenne Golf Club is an excellent challenge for beginners as well as for ranked players. Ideally located on the banks of the Mayenne, in a hilly site, the course covers 82 hectares. It offers 27 holes spread over 2 quality courses: Le Jariel (9 holes of 1694 meters - Par31) and La Chabossière (18 holes of 6911 meters - Par72).
Laval and Mayenne golf courses are accessible to all levels of play and leave no room for monotony. Unforgettable holes on the banks of the Mayenne will bring you back to the course. The first departure, on a plateau, invites you to confront large spaces, with gentle slopes; the continuation is declined in undulating fairways, bordered of species and centuries-old rare trees which descend without rupture to the bed of the river.
A natural heritage to be preserved
The Laval golf course is part of the biodiversity approach set up by the French Golf Federation in partnership with the Museum of Natural History. The study will be carried out in 2019 and should lead to the Silver Label. The biodiversity of golf facilities is still unknown! There is in fact a strong potential for improving knowledge of this biodiversity on the national territory. Beyond this important issue of knowledge, the Golf Program for Biodiversity, launched at the end of 2018, in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History is also committed to developing a strategy common to all golf structures, creating a unprecedented voluntary commitment of clubs, supported by all the organizations representing French and European golf.
