Two superb golf courses, a championship course 'Le Grand Pierpont' and a compact, but quality course, 'Le Petit Pierpont', surround a farmhouse, dating from the 17th century.
Friendly service welcomes you to the Club House and to the Hotel, with its restaurant and a fantastic terrace 'in the middle of the course'.
Club Life, organized around a busy sporting and social calendar, exudes a relaxed atmosphere.
The Golf Academy, with beautiful training facilities and skillful pros, completes this attractive picture.
The entire infrastructure of the Golf de Pierpont underwent a complete renovation and upgrade in 2011.
Two golf courses
Pierpont Golf opened its fairways - designed by architect Johan Dudok van Heel - in 1992. They are beautifully integrated into the 67 gently sloping hectares of countryside.
The Grand Pierpont
The superb par 72 championship course 'Le Grand Pierpont' is open to the elements that make it a different playing experience from one day to the next.
Large bunkers and water features line manicured fairways, as well as strategically placed trees and shrubs and swift greens. It is also renowned for its drought, which makes it playable all year round.
The Little Pierpont
The 9-hole par 27 'Le Petit Pierpont' course offers both beginners and experienced players an excellent challenge, accessible to all!
Both courses were completely revised and upgraded - by architect Bruno Steensels - in 2011.
The quality of Pierpont is, to say the least, demonstrated by the organizations that have chosen to organize their competitions here: European Seniors Tour, National PGA Open, National Junior Open, Omnium of Belgium and Alps Tour.
The Château de la Tournette Golf course, set in a 160 ha estate with natural, wooded and hilly landscapes, offers two superb 18-hole courses, of different design, renowned among the most beautiful and competitive in Belgium.
The English Course, laid out on a plateau affected by the prevailing winds, was originally designed by the architect Martin Hawtree and revised a few years later by Clive Clark.
The American Course, originally designed by architect Bill Amick, then later remodeled by Peter Alliss, is the very type of "Target Golf", USA style.
These two "championship" courses have undergone recent alterations by architect Bruno Steensels.
The Orival Course, a compact 9-hole training course, accessible to beginners, has also been designed by the latter.
The highest maintenance standards ensure accessibility and summer greens throughout the year.
With first-class golfing facilities, La Tournette has something to seduce golfers of all levels!
Located in the heart of the historic Arenberg Park, the 2 courses of Golf Club Enghien take full advantage of the hundred-year-old trees which are the pride of the place.
The “Arenberg” championship course, 18 holes Par 72 of 6.393m, unfolds its fairways through undulating terrain and bypassing several bodies of water.
It is the work of renowned architect Bruno Stenseels. Hole 2 is one of the most spectacular par 5 in the country; the end is just as impressive. It is indeed necessary to cross the arm, rather wide, of a piece of water which joins the thatched cottage, today transformed into a charming Clubhouse.
This course is at the same time old - by its environment - and modern - by its daring design.
The Club has a welcoming, bilingual and friendly atmosphere.
It also emphasizes the teaching of golf - via a compact 9-hole course, the "Brunehault" - and offers different formulas to allow young and old to discover golf or to perfect their swing.
The two golf courses
THE ARENBERG ROUTE
Of all the golf courses in Belgium, you will only find in Enghien hundred-year-old oaks which attended the secret discussions of the great Europeans ... Indeed, the Arenberg course inaugurated in 2002 is located within a domain built by the Dukes of Arenberg, one of the largest families in Europe in the XNUMXth century.
The undulations of the ground reveal at the bend of a fairway these famous majestic trees, some of which are over 600 years old. And what about the plunging view from the green of 2 on one of the branches of the Pavillon des 7 étoiles, a jewel of cosmology? If the atmosphere is history, with these fairways observed by these noble centenarians, the present is certainly contemporary with a resolutely modern design.
The priority and originality of this 18-hole course aim to create a "strategic course". Each hole has its own personality and is as much a challenge as a reward for the panoramic view offered. The games will have to deal with the environment, the shape of the greens and the water obstacles that are in turn Warelles, the Odru and the Canal; the three streams and ponds that make up the course.
THE BRUNEHAULT ROUTE
Opened in September 2008, this compact 9-hole course of 1377 m (par 28), is built on the site of the old four-hole and driving range dating from the creation of Golf Club Enghien (1992). It is an excellent tool for work and fun for beginners and experienced players. The course is also qualifying.
Golf la Bruyère is located in Sart-Dames-Avelines on the border of the provinces of Brabant and Hainaut and dominating the Sambre and Escaut basins in Belgium. This 18-hole golf course has been drawn on the rolling slopes of the Château de la Ferme de la Bruyère. The former outbuilding of the Villiers-la-Ville abbey has become a very welcoming clubhouse.
The course stretches out its wide fairways bordered by roughs perfectly integrated into the typical landscape of the Brabant-Wallon region. Without apparent difficulties, this course has some surprises in store for those who do not play long and straight. Indeed it requires a good technicality because of water obstacles and bunkers which are placed in a strategic way. Attacking the greens can be tricky on days with high winds.
A warm family welcome awaits you to relax and indulge your passion for golf in this club bathed in calm and greenery.
For beginners, the club has a 9-hole course.
