Located in the Vanoise National Park, at an altitude of 1400 m, the Méribel golf course is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful mountain courses in Europe.
In a completely preserved environment, in the middle of century-old spruce trees, the golf of Méribel alternates holes embedded in the forest and vast green flows, all with a panoramic view of the surrounding massifs: the dent de Burgin, the rock of Tougne, the Saulire.
Well known for its "gourmet drive" in July, the Méribel golf calendar was notably enriched with an international Pro-am.
Created in 1978 by Michaël Fenn, Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine, the golf course of Méribel saw the complete redevelopment of its first 9 holes entrusted in 2005 to Hugues Lambert.
The distance of this par 71 is now 5538 meters. With a softened slope, an attenuated relief, the upper part also gives pride of place to the landscape, offering undulating fairways, streaming waterfalls and overhanging departures. The whole gives a course of 18 holes rather physical and quite technical where the forest and the vast tormented greens constitute as many beautiful defenses.
The Du Lac De Tignes golf course is the highest golf course in Europe. It is located at an altitude of 2100 meters. It is an unprecedented course in France to play at least once in your life!

President's editorial
”Dear golfing friends,
This year is special because we are going to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Courchevel golf course.
In 1989, at the initiative of Martial Mugnier, deputy mayor of Saint-Bon and Armand Carlevato, director of the Municipal Authority, the Courchevel golf course was born and since it has participated in the summer attractiveness of our resort.
Today, the association has more than 130 members and welcomes many tourists throughout the summer.
According to them, they appreciate this jewel in the heart of our beautiful mountains and the friendly spirit that reigns there. ”
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the very dynamic involvement of the entire Committee, the reception team and the gardeners.
I would also have liked to announce that the extension of the golf course would start in 2019, the studies being practically completed but the budgetary choices of the municipality were not in this direction.
The entire Committee joins me in hoping that this great project will come to fruition very soon.
Have a good golf season everyone! “
