Professional golfers forced to get dressed
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), one of the main (American) organizers of professional women's golf competitions, brings together some of the best players on the circuit and takes place in several countries such as the United States, Mexico, France and Japan. Tournaments where unfortunately the players no longer dress as they want. A message, sent by the president of the players of the LPGA Vicki Goetze-Ackerman, sends the organization "in the past". The reason: a new regulation on the Dresscode for golfers, extremely strict. It prohibits: tank tops, necklines that are too plunging, leggings, skirts that are too short and sports jogging bottoms on the golf courses of the women's circuit. But it does not stop there ... The mesaage also stipulates that during parties, "appropriate clothes must be worn.

It remains to be seen if these rules will apply to the Ladies European Tour because the LET and the LPGA, two different authorities.
The LPGA organization had however initially accepted the outfit of the player Michelle Wie. But it is precisely the clothes that are too "sport" and not chic enough, where the arms and legs are bare, that seem to pose a problem. The communication team tries to defend itself: "The players must present themselves in a professional manner in order to convey a positive image of the sport", advances Heather Daly-Donofrio. These "small adjustments", as she points out, are therefore aimed at giving a more positive image. But for some specialists in the sport like Robert Lusetich, we and the Internet users, regulating the way in which women golfers should dress is certainly not.
