US Open Women 2019: Céline Boutier is co-leader

After three laps, Céline Boutier is leading the US Open. The Frenchwoman shares first place with the Chinese Yu Liu.

For the first time in her career, the Frenchwoman will start in the last part of a Major.

After lifting her first LPGA title this year (ISPS Handa Vic Open), Céline Boutier is having a very solid week at the US Open.

This Saturday, on the South course of the Country Club of Charleston, the native of Montrouge touched all the fairways and took out of his bag 3 birdies for only one bogey. With a third card of 69 (-2) and a total score of -7, Boutier shares the lead with Chinese Yu Liu.

The two women have a head start over Jaye Marie Green, Lexi Thompson and Mamiko Higa and will be in the final game this Sunday. The last time a Bleue lifted the US Open was in 1967 with the victory of Catherine Lacoste
