If the place invites you to stroll with its hilly landscapes, its ponds and streams, and its very beautiful trees, players are strongly advised not to be too distracted by this nature - unfortunately! - under penalty of returning to the 19th hole with a slightly average score ...

Two golf courses
Pierpont Golf opened its fairways - designed by architect Johan Dudok van Heel - in 1992. They are beautifully integrated into the 67 gently sloping hectares of countryside.
The Grand Pierpont
The superb par 72 championship course 'Le Grand Pierpont' is open to the elements that make it a different playing experience from one day to the next.
Large bunkers and water features line manicured fairways, as well as strategically placed trees and shrubs and swift greens. It is also renowned for its drought, which makes it playable all year round.
The Little Pierpont
The 9-hole par 27 'Le Petit Pierpont' course offers both beginners and experienced players an excellent challenge, accessible to all!
Both courses were completely revised and upgraded - by architect Bruno Steensels - in 2011.
The quality of Pierpont is, to say the least, demonstrated by the organizations that have chosen to organize their competitions here: European Seniors Tour, National PGA Open, National Junior Open, Omnium of Belgium and Alps Tour.
Inaugurated in 1933 by the will of a few friends who are passionate about golf, the Royal Golf Club of Hainaut was built on the lands of the Princes of Croÿ, in the town of Jurbise, a few kilometers from Mons, in the middle of heather and broom, on rather sandy soil.
The site located in the heart of the Hennuyère pine forest is a haven of peace that exudes its splendor in the heart of authentic nature.
Golf courses: 3 x 9 holes
Three courses (27 holes) which constitute a high level golf challenge.
Les Bruyères and Le Quesnoy unfold their fairways (5975 m) among pines, birches and heather beds. In short, a classic course which highlights golfing qualities. Listed in the Rolex guide to the 1000 best golf courses in the world with a score of 85/100 it is described as ”a classic course of risk and reward; the more safe you play at the start, the longer and more difficult the second shot will be ”.
The Ponds develop over 3186 m, in an exceptional site populated by various species. This highly technical course, recommended for experienced golfers, offers by its diversity, its relief and its natural obstacles the whole range of strokes, requiring length and precision.
The Golf de Rigenée welcomes you in a green and warm setting. Created in the 80s by Caroline and Emmanuel Descampe, Rigenée is one of the oldest courses in Brabant Wallon.
Established in Villers-la-Ville since 1982, it was designed by the famous Belgian architect Paul Rolin on “magical” grounds which, except in cases of force majeure, allow play throughout the year on summer greens. ! Very open and not very wooded, it is a delicate course, redesigned over the years by Christophe Descampe, son of the founder and current President of the Club.
The 18-hole course
The course, with its rather wide fairways, is uniformly flat but never boring thanks to numerous obstacles placed at strategic places. The terrain is constantly evolving in order to make the courses more lively: ponds are dug, bunkers of grass, sand and front greens increase the difficulty, numerous bodies of water, flowering bushes and groves make their nests there, etc. Without forgetting its multiple starting areas which delight players of all levels.
The holes are well balanced and offer a pleasant pace of play. We will especially note the technical quality of Pars 5, of an honest length, which makes them "challenging" holes. Rather rare: the course ends with a Par 3 uphill.
Its open character transforms the course when the wind picks up. And challenge the best Links players, which requires a game as complete as it is precise.
It is not by chance that the Club, with its very sporting atmosphere, is traditionally among the most brilliant in the Interclub championships and if it hosts many national competitions.
The Golf Henri-Chapelle is above all an exceptional setting. The landscape is typical of the Pays de Herve: green and hilly. It fits perfectly into a magical environment, surrounded by trees, hedges, fields and fruit trees ... In reality, Henri-Chapelle, it is not one course, but three: “Les Viviers” (18 holes), “Le Charlemagne” (18 holes) and “La Chapelle” (9 holes). Whatever your level and whatever your desires, there is always a course within your reach.
The 18-hole Les Viviers course is a challenge for any experienced golfer. The bunkers and water obstacles of the new 18-hole Charlemagne course will surprise you. For enthusiastic beginners, there is the 9-hole La Chapelle course. The Golf also has a professionally run indoor golf school.
