History of Golf des Bordes

The Les Bordes golf course was originally born from an idea when the industrialist met Baron bich (the brand of pens "Bic") and the businessman Mr. Yoshiaki Sakurai. The two friends then decide to create a high quality golf course with an international dimension for their pleasure and that of their friends.

Robert von Haage, Téxan architect with multiple creations was contacted to give an "American" touch to the project. Without any limit given to the investment as well as to the size of the course, Von Haage created a extraordinary course for its beauty and originality. He knew how to exploit the wealth of Sologne by integrating 12 of the 18-hole lakes, while pushing the golfer in the heart of the Sologne forest.

The Bordes course - The Old Course - Von Hagge-designed

Un 650 hectare estate listed as a World Heritage Site and located in the heart of the Loire Valley. Les Bordes is recognized as one of the best golf courses in France and one of the most exclusive golf courses in Europe. The original Bordes route is a  18 par 72 holes of 6 meters, nestled in the middle of a dense forest of Sologne, planted with trees and dotted with a complex and resplendent mixture of lakes

The future of golf Les Bordes - The New Course - Gil Hanse-designed

In Les Bordes, there will soon be the Old Course and the New Course. This second course will offer a real contrast with its elder. Indeed, the layout of this new course will be inspired bya british links. With fairways planted with gorse, broom, but also heather and large jagged bunkers. The tradition will thus come to supplement the Old Course with a promising 18 holes which we will speak to you soon ... The new course of 7 yards (391 meters), designed by Gil Hanse, will be inspired by the classic style of the Parkland type courses. .

Compact Course - Wild Piglet Course - Pitch and Putt

A fun creation by Gil Hanse, the Wild Piglet consists of 10 Par 3 holes ranging from 120 to 180 meters that pay homage to some of the most iconic holes in the world.
