LPGA - PGA Women's Championship - Round 1 - Australia's Hannah Green leads the PGA Championship, the third Grand Slam event of the year on the women's professional golf circuit, after the first round played Thursday in Chaska, Minnesota

Green, 22, completed his first round in 68 strokes, or four strokes under par. She is suddenly ahead of the English Mel Reid and the South Korean Kim Hyo-joo, tied for 2nd (69, -3), and by two moves a group of six players in which appear the Thai Ariya Jutanugarn and the defender of the title, the South Korean Park Sung-hyun (70, -2). The first day was disrupted by the rain and the cold which almost played a bad trick on Green. “I only brought one jacket and I was chilled. We really did not expect this weather“, Underlined the leader, in search of her first LPGA title. The French Céline Boutier, 5th in the US Open last month, is in 32nd place with her card of 73 (+1).
