The Golf des Tumulus is the work of Charles de Ginestet. In the 1980s, he created the 9-hole golf course in the middle of the Laloubère racecourse. Then, after 5 years of work, he inaugurated the 18-hole Tumulus course in 1988. His idea of ​​making a golf course near the town center of Tarbes in Laloubère allowed many sportsmen to live and discover their passion for golf. . After his departure in 1992, golf remained in the family with the succession of his son Yves de Ginestet.
