Created in 1856 by Scottish officers passionate about the sport, the Pau Golf Club and the oldest course in continental Europe and one of the oldest golf courses in the world.
L'history of this legendary club says that the two officers, at the origin of this golf, never parted with their golf equipment and looked for every opportunity to practice their favorite sport.
During their walks they were struck by the beauty of the Billère plain and the surrounding landscape. They therefore thought that such a setting lent itself admirably to the game of golf.
Le Club House is also a real museum devoted to the rich history of the club.
Located in the heart of the city of Pau in Aquitaine, this 18 holes course is flat but technical and constitutes a very beautiful golf course.
Pau Golf Club 1856 is today undoubtedly one of the most beautiful golf courses in France . Its seniority and its history gives it a little extra soul.
