Description

The practice of golf and the development of golfers are going through a period of considerable change. Technology is central to this transformation. Digitization of swing DNA is now possible thanks to the TRACKMAN. As is the personalization and comparison of the perception of the swing against reality. Trackman technology also allows you to monitor structural changes in your swing over time. These are just a few compelling examples of how to unleash your potential more effectively.

With the TrackMan, you have all these tools to progress. In fact, equipped with a Doppler radar, the machine measures the movement of the club during impact and follows the trajectory of the ball throughout the flight.

Le Trackman is a radar that will let you know more about your swing. Placed behind the player, it will scan your movement during impact and show you the entire flight of the ball. The Trackman allows you to better understand your strengths and weaknesses.

What data does The Trackman analyze?

The Smash Factor
  • The Smash Factor is the speed of the ball divided by the speed of the club.
  • It is the amount of energy transferred from the club head to the golf ball.
  • Thus, the higher the Smash Factor, the better the energy transfer.
The Spin Rate - The Spin Rate
  • The spin rate is the amount of spinning of the golf ball immediately after impact.
  • The speed of rotation has a major influence on the height and distance of your shot.
  • Thus, a well compressed ball with an iron on naturally has a high backspin rate. Conversely, a prose ball going up will have a "Topspin" rolling effect.
The angle of attack
  • The angle of attack determines the angle at which the ball takes off from the ground.
  • It tells us if the ball is contacted going down (negative value) or going up (positive value).
  • Obviously, with the irons we will try to contact the ball before the ground with a downward angle of attack. Conversely, with the drive, we will try to take the ball while going up to reduce the spin and maximize the distance.
The Carry
  • The Trackman precisely measures the Carry. The distance traveled by a ball from its starting point to the point where it hits the ground. It is therefore the distance in flight of the ball.
  • This data is important to calibrate his distances with each club.
  • With this data, the golfer can then adjust his choice of clubs for uphill and downhill shots on the course.
Ball speed
  • Ball speed is the speed of the golf ball calculated immediately after impact
  • It is created by the speed of the swing allied to the impact of the club.
  • Bad impact, such as a hit to the toe or heel, reduces the potential speed of the ball.
Club speed
  • Club speed is the speed at which the club head moves just before impact.
  • The higher the speed of the club, the greater the potential distance.

The Dynamic Loft

  • It is the loft (opening) of the club during impact, expressed in degrees.
  • It is he who, in conjunction with the angle of attack, determines the angle of launch of the ball.
  • The dynamic loft is essential to create the desired trajectory (high, low) and to maximize the distance of the ball according to the speed of swing of the player.
Club Path - Club Path
  • The trackman analyzes the horizontal direction in which the club head moves during impact and is calculated relative to the line of play.
  • A negative value indicates a club path to the left, this is called an outside / inside path.
  • A positive number indicates a right swing path either inside / outside.
  • The ideal path depends on the type of stroke desired. To the left for a "fade" and to the right for a "draw".
The angle of the clubface
  • Face angle is the direction in which the clubface faces (right or left) at impact.
  • Most golfers speak of an "open" or "closed" clubface.
  • Thus, a positive value means that the clubface is pointing to the right of the target on impact ("open" for a right handed golfer). Conversely, a negative value means that the clubface points to the left of the target ("closed" for a right handed golfer).
