French golf federation - ffgolf

The French Golf Federation, created in 1912, has the mission of organizing, controlling and developing the practice of golf in France. With more than 400 licensees today, it is the 000th largest French sports federation.

Organization of the FFG

To implement its public service delegation missions, the French Golf Federation is administered by a Management Committee, made up of 32 members elected for a period of four years, and eligible for re-election. The Management Committee appoints the President, and validates on the President's proposal, a Bureau comprising a President, a Vice-President, a Treasurer and a Secretary General, in total 10 members and two permanent guests. The Steering Committee establishes the Commissions.

The President of the ffg

Pascal Grizot, 12th President of the ffgolf, instigator of the National Golf Week. A volunteer committed for many years in the world of golf, Pascal Grizot, the only one to present a list, was elected at the head of the French Golf Federation. Its list received 5317 votes from 606 clubs or 96% of the votes cast. 

Jean-Lou Charon, 11th president of the French Golf Federation, was re-elected for a second term at the General Assembly of the French Golf Federation on March 31, 2017, held at the headquarters of the French National Olympic Sport Committee (CNOSF ).

Volunteer committed for many years in the world of golf, Jean-Lou Charon, the only one to present a list, was re-elected at the head of the French Golf Federation. Its list received 3949 votes or 92.98% of the votes cast.

History of ffgolf

Founded in 1912 under the name of Union des golfs de France, the French Golf Federation is a 1901 law association declared of public utility on April 9, 1975 and approved by the Ministry of Sports. Some major dates that have marked the history of ffgolf.

Leagues and departmental committees

The organization of golf in France is part of that of the national sports movement. Pyramidal type, it structures the clubs, departmental committees and leagues within the ffgolf.

The 19 Leagues and their 84 Departmental Committees represent the Federation throughout the country. They are in charge of implementing the strategy that they have helped to define, the corresponding action plans and the proper use of the means to achieve them. Responsible for sports animation, they design and carry out actions whose objectives are shared by the clubs.
