It is on the racecourse of Ostend, more than 125 years old, that the Wellington Golf was built, a 9-hole championship course offering numerous training facilities.
The course was designed by Baron Paul Rolin and is extremely varied. Indeed, it consists of vast greens with interesting slopes and numerous water obstacles. The presence of the historic racecourse, which still hosts races today, gives the golf course a unique character.
The obstacles of the old steeplechase races, the basins for watering the gallop track and the old trotting track have now been transformed into obstacles on the golf course. Add 9 new ponds, and you'll understand that Wellington Golf is a big challenge for all golfers!
The Kasteeltje, then erected on behalf of King Leopold II and the scene of pigeon shooting, has regained its former glory and serves as a clubhouse. In "The Pigeon Bistro", enjoy a delicious menu on the sunny terrace or in the elegant surroundings of the restaurant.
