The Wase Golf of Saint-Gilles-Waes is the latest golf project created in Flanders. At the end of the first phase, this new club aims to become the benchmark golf school in the Pays de Waes and its surroundings. It will then be a question of the development of a 9-hole course, which will subsequently be extended to 18 holes.
The golf school consists of a driving range, a putting green and, from April 2018, a 6-hole course (including two PAR 4 and four PAR 3). The old stables will also be temporarily transformed into a club house. On April 1, 2017, the club officially opened its doors with the driving range and the putting green, in order to welcome the first beginners at the start of the season.
Wase Golf aims to make golf accessible to everyone, from beginners to semi-professionals, and therefore mainly targets new golfers. The ideal therefore for those who have never held a golf club in hand and wish to learn about the sport.
And what could be nicer than eating together before or after golf? Then come to the Wase Golf brasserie, where chef Tom Van Herck will notably reserve themed menus and Burgundian Thursdays for you to delight your taste buds, all at particularly affordable prices. The brasserie is not reserved for club members and is open to everyone.
