Within the historic domain of the castle of Petegem dating from the 19th century (1847) you will discover two fascinating 18-hole courses.

The romanticism emanating from the ancient trees in the castle grounds and the gentle meanders of the old Scheldt make these 36 holes the pearl of the Flemish Ardennes landscape.

Natural water obstacles and a technical route defend the greens of 'KASTEEL' (par 71) and 'ANKER' (par 72) and provide a fair balance between competitiveness and pleasure. The Kasteel course

The 18-hole course begins with the pride of Oudenaarde, the "Depart" above the famous castle lake, and ends with the 18th hole, the "Victory Lane" a par 5 with a viewpoint on the splendid terrace .

This course has two completely new holes (par 4): hole 11, "Beaulieu", and hole 12, "Fisherman's Corner".
The Anker course

The course starts at "Chalet Baziel", and reaches its climax with a recently modified par 3 across the lake from the castle to the club house. Seven new holes (opened in September 2007), magnificent and not to be underestimated, are located next to and beyond the "Elsegem", the backwater of the Scheldt.

In addition, a small stream provides the necessary challenge when approaching some of the greens.

The Royal Latem Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Belgium. Created in 1909, it offers a magnificent 18-hole course.

The ancient trees and stylish properties surrounding it will make you feel like you are strolling through a beautiful English garden. The course is short, but quite technical and has been recently renovated by the Hawtree architectural firm. A great diversity of holes, each with its own character, makes this course a challenge for players of all levels.

The nostalgic clubhouse, built in an English cottage, sits on a hill at the heart of the course. You can relax on the terrace and enjoy tasty and refined cuisine.

The Royal Latem is a very famous private golf club and welcomes players from all over Europe. A must-see just a stone's throw from Ghent!
