The Valserine river crosses the golf course and sometimes surprises the most distracted. This exceptional river takes its source at the borders of the departments of Jura and Ain, in the National Nature Reserve of the Haute Chaine du Jura. Flowing at first in a valley with a wide bottom and not very deep. It then sinks into gorges on the second part of its course and flows into the Rhône at Bellegarde-sur-Valserine after a succession of waterfalls, pots and losses known throughout the region.
