Located atwest of Aveyron two kilometers from the city center of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, the Totche Golf is ideally placed in the region Occitania.
Created on a private initiative: a farmer who wanted to build a golf course on his parents' land to play with friends, the Golf du Totche has kept its family and friendly spirit. This does not prevent the Sports Association, created in 2006, from doing everything possible to shine in the various competitions, and train golfers, who will join the ranks of neighboring 18-hole clubs, located an hour away, maximum: those of Albi, Montauban, Rodez. However, the former do not easily let go of the club from their start, a sign that everyone is finding something for them.
Very well maintained, with some greens quality, hard and tortuous. This is a 9 hole compact (only par 3, no more than 120 m), on which appears a pitch and putt plot which has its followers, and its successes in the discipline. On such a course, beginners can very quickly get into a game situation. And everyone has to work their little game to lower their index finger. An index capped at 26,5.We play all year round, even if in winter, the weather is still humid. Competitions punctuate the seasons, from Easter to Christmas and the so-called "La der", at the end of which all the authors of holes in 1 in the past year, offer champagne.
If you are passing through the area, stop by, you will be welcomed. This will be the opportunity for you to visit in Rodez, the extraordinary museum of contemporary art, the Soulages Museum. To see also the Bastide of Villeneuve-de-Rouergue, the medieval city of Villeneuve d'Aveyron, that of Najac also. Or even visit Figeac, the city of Champollion, the Gorges de Saint-Antonin… Always with a lodging or a hotel at low prices to welcome you and a good table to discover, in landscapes that are both grandiose and serene.
