Le Golf of Saint-Cloud is a private club comprising two 18-hole courses. it is located in the municipalities of Garches, Rueil-Malmaison et Vaucresson, in the immediate vicinity of Paris. The Eiffel Tower, which stands in the alignment of 8 du Vert and 18 du Jaune offers moreover a magnificent view of Paris. he was inaugurated in 1913.
Designed by Harry Shapland Colt, the first true golf architect, the Green course has received the French Open 14 times. This is the historic route of the French Open Juniors - Esmond Cup.
The Golf of Saint Cloud has one of the finest amateur team records for Women. In fact, today there are 26 victories in the French Championship. In addition, the best French amateur players come to play the Saint-Cloud Grand Prix which carries every other year the name of its founder. Thus Henry Cachard or Jacques Petit-Le Roy, very good amateur player, member of the Club, young resistant, emissary of Jacques Chaban-Delmas, shot at 28 years old the day before the Liberation of Paris.
Le Saint Cloud golf course, with 21 other French golf courses, is present in the Rolex guide to the 1000 best courses in the world.
Designed by the great architect Harry Shapland Colt (considered by Donald Steel to be the father of golf course architecture) the Green course of the Golf de Saint-Cloud, like all other courses designed by Harry Shapland Colt, has stood the test of time. Colt took into account the natural relief of the site, which is hilly for a large part of the course. The hole designs are varied and lead the player to think about several strategies of play. Par 71 of 5.936 meters, the Green allows to use all the clubs of the bag, with a considerable variety of shots. Hole n ° 8 offers a unique view of the Eiffel Tower.
Turned into 18 holes by Harry Shapland Colt and Jim Morrison in 1931, the Yellow course extends over the entire wooded plain of area of Buzenval. Only the last 4 holes offer more hilly holes which offer a wonderful panorama of the capital. Par 68 of 4.877 meters, this small greens course requires a good set of irons and precise face-offs.
Le practice includes 46 indoor and individual boxes. It is open from 8:00 a.m. until nightfall.

Un pitch and putt designed by Jean-Pierre Tairraz completes these installations. This, organized around holes 11, 12 and 13 of the Yellow course, is accessible at certain times of the season and as part of team training and the golf school.

The golf courses of Saint-Cloud are accessible to club members and their guests. If you are not a member, you can come and play green fees from July 16 to 21 and from August 1 to 23, depending on availability and summer work on the courses. From 16:00 p.m. the Green Course is reserved for members. In all cases, the license of the French Golf Federation must be presented to the reception staff. There is no reservation possible to take a departure. The Club is closed on Mondays.

The teachers, professors and monitors offer you individual or group lessons, on the practice or in the field. It is possible to book a class with a teacher even if you are not a member of the club.
The decor, which we imagine stemming from the imagination of Patrick Modiano, smacks of the 1930s. Garches, at the golf course Saint Cloud. The Saint Cloud Golf pro-shop is accessible to members and their guests. The pro-shop offers you everything you need for your golf course. Demonstration clubs are loaned to you to test the equipment before buying it. A collection of textiles for Men, Women and Children is available. Fitting with John Lawson by appointment.
The Saint-Cloud Grand Prix brings together the best French amateur players for 3 days every year. It is called one year in 2 the Cachard of the name of the founder of the Club or the Jacques Petit le Roy Cup

03/10/2022 au 10:03Very beautiful golf course with two 18-hole courses right in the center of the Saint-Cloud racecourse, Very wide fairways, overhanging departures and superb views, especially with the view of the Eiffel Tower (hole 8)!
Hospitality and catering is good.
